We had a great 30-year rate already, but we wanted to take advantage of the low rates. I called and checked online with 7 different mortgage companies and I'm so thankful we chose First Class Mortgage. Not only did they offer the best rate and lowest closing costs of the other companies, but they offered assurance that if the loan process took longer than expected (which is common with the low interest rates right now), they would take care of it and we wouldn't have to pay extra to continue locking in the rate. This was something none of the other companies were willing to do. Thankfully, their team processed our loan as quickly as possible. They made the process so very simple; we were able to do everything except the closing (which was also perfect) in person. They were clear about everything from the beginning and answered every question we had. They communicated with us every step of the way so that there were no surprises. He had me waiting to see if I was approved for a mortgage loan for almost a month ... and he still wouldn't return my phone calls or emails, or let me know if I was approved for the loan or not. Do yourself a favor and go with a national mortgage company like Better Mortgage. They had an answer for me the same day I applied and they were unbelievably professional and helpful.
