I was really excited to check this place out after seeing their cocktail menu online, and in some…read moreways it definitely lived up to the hype. The drinks were excellent--well-balanced, creative, and clearly made with skill. There was also a live musician performing during my visit who was amazing and added a great atmosphere and really elevated the overall vibe. Service, however, was a mixed experience. One of the bartenders (a newer female bartender) was very friendly, attentive, and showed a lot of potential--she made a great impression despite seeming a bit new. Unfortunately, the other bartender completely brought the experience down. He came across as rude, disengaged, and honestly like he didn't want to be there at all. I understand it was a busy night, but there was very little sense of urgency from him, and wait times felt longer than they should have been--even factoring in the crowd. That said, I do understand everyone can have an off night, and given how good the drinks and atmosphere were (plus the positive reviews I've seen elsewhere), I'd likely be willing to give it another shot. Overall, great cocktails and ambiance, but inconsistent service keeps it from being a top-tier experience--for now. I will be happy to update following a repeat visit.

Food and drinks are very reasonably priced. 4 stars because very few people here follow any of the CDC guidelines and there was a birthday party being hosted inside on one of the nights that we visited and ZERO people had masks on. Also didn't appreciate one of the locals coming up to our table and getting uncomfortably close to my face while proceeding to ask me if he could have the rest of my fries ... dude, we are in the middle of a pandemic ??? Staff is great and very friendly, but I do recommend you come early, hide in a corner, and leave before the locals come if you're worried about Covid lol.

Nice place to stop in for a drink and a bite to eat when the weather is nice. The patio has a quiet, relaxing tuck in on a not so busy street with plenty of parking. Our food was good, made fast, and delivered to the outdoor table with easy to access drinks at the bar for a Sunday afternoon. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. The only thing that would keep me out of here is a long wait on a cold night, but they have a semi-enclosed patio that should make that a non-issue. Next time I'm passing through starved rock I'll stop in for a bite!

Walking in through the beer garden it reeked of w e e d. It was very quiet there as it was a weekday evening, except for a male screaming in the beer garden as we entered and a few other times as we were inside the bar. Inside the floor mosaic tiling is neat and so are the ceilings. I also like the big vintage cash register which I assume is originally from the bar when it opened. The ceilings are high and beautifully restored. We did not get food. Our two vodka club sodas were $14 total. They were served in clear plastic cups. The bartender smiled at us and was polite but she didn't say much. We couldn't stand how the place smelled so we quickly paid, finished our drinks and left.

We also ordered a side of Cheese Curds. No photos of those - I was too hungry. So, let's start with the cheese curds. For reference, we have tried a ton of these, and this version was not great. The curds were "hollow" in the center of the fried section. We've had better. The dipping sauce was good. No salt or pepper is on the table. The Wagyu Burger was cooked to order, but tasted bland. It needed a good dose of salt or something, but nothing was available. My wife had their French Dip. I tried a bit of it - she liked it. It tasted pretty good, so she got the better end of the order. Her tea and my Dr. Pepper tasted okay. Service was good. The interior of the restaurant was attractive. It's just the food was amazingly bland. Like blah.

We ordered two different kinds of quesadillas which came out grilled and melty good with a ton of mozzarella cheese. It was a pretty good sized portion. The nachos and cheese are tortilla chips with a ton of cheese sauce and jalapeños on the side. Sundays they have build your own bloody bar where you are provided a generous half glass of vodka and ice to start your creation. Your mixer was a spicy Clamato and it was delish.
