They made me this custom breakfast for me. Gordita de chicharrón en salsa roja. With some extra refried beans and papa a la Mexican.

Best breakfast ever! I love this place because it serves breakfast all day for those of us who have rough nights. Service is great and the place is always clean!

Chicken Tortilla Soup

Cute little cozy restaurant. We got complementary atole with our meal. The chips were nice and crispy, the salsa tasted a little like marinara sauce. I got the chilaquiles divorciados, the green salsa was tasty and flavorful, the red was the same as the table salsa so a little eh. My partner got the chicken tortilla soup, it was a little bland with the rice they added but still tastier than some other places we have been to. The soup would have been better with the rice on the side to get more soup. The spicy salsa is the bomb and picas good. The flour tortillas are on point. Good bang for your buck.

The restaurant itself is beautiful inside! So spacious, clean, and nice modern decor. The food is also very delicious. I had the chilaquiles and it was amazing because it reminded me of home. It has been a long time since I've had food that resembles what my mom cooked for me and this was a nice treat. I recommend Blanquita's to everyone and cannot wait to go back.

Finally a place where every item that hit the table was amazingly delicious. A hidden jewel.

Food was excellent and seasoned properly. Definitely coming back!

$25 for two Q breakfast tacos? No way lol last time I'll be here. Way overpriced, don't understand why.

Good food and good service. It's been a while but I think I had the breakfast taco and it was delicious and generous.

I've been eating here since 1970 when menu was written daily on a small blackboard on the wall and plate lunches were $1.25, drink included. I left the area in '84 but have returned frequently ever since. Las Vegas is always my first stop, and last night was no different, meeting up with ten family members for dinner. Our server, Elizabeth, was superb. When I saw the menu, I was concerned. It was six or eight pages, with dishes I never expected to see here. But I understand why, even though my first thought was, "I hope they haven't messed with the traditional dishes." I've always maintained the cheese enchiladas here are among the three or four finest in the world, if not THE finest. That's what I always order. I also ordered panchos and guacamole. My wife ordered beef enchiladas. The guacamole was very good. The nice thing about LVC is they don't use much (if any) cilantro. This stuff ruins guacamole. Their homemade chips are beyond incredible and so is the salsa. The panchos were terrible. Way too much cheese. Ratios are important. The refried beans and rice were very dry. And finally, the cheese enchiladas. They were not good. There was very little gravy (this is what makes them so good) at all, and the gravy wasn't right. They have changed the recipe. There was also way too much cheese on top. Ratios are important. The medium (soft, medium or crispy taco shell) ground beef taco was perfect. My wife said her enchiladas were also disappointingly dry with bland gravy. I ate the taco and about half the rice, beans and enchiladas. I paid what might be my final tab here, and picked up everyone else's check. 56 years ago, I paid less than two bucks out the door. Last night's tab was over $250 with tip. Times have changed. Unfortunately, so has their food. The women's restroom was repulsive. I won't go into detail about the trash can.

I went with the Al's Party plate, which included brisket, carne guisada, and charro beans. There's just something so good about brisket and carne guisada. The brisket is smoked for hours, and the carne guisada is a stew-like beef that's perfectly seasoned. The beans were in a tasty sauce & not greasy. These are my absolute favorite dishes whenever I'm in Texas. The food was fantastic! Service was rushed but friendly. The platter was a perfect combination, bigger than what I usually order. And the leftovers? Yay! I will definitely be back.

The chips were hard as rocks and had zero salt. Seriously NO SALT. They felt like they had been made the day before. The salsa was underwhelming. I was hoping the food would redeem the chips and salsa but they did not. I got 2 cheese enchiladas, a taco and a chalupa. The taco shell Was stale. I dumped the meat out (that's all that was in the shell) onto the chalupa hoping to add some flavor. None! The ground beef was bland. No seasoning- just regular cooked ground beef. Mi took one bite of my chalupa- lettuce and what tasted like baby food beans. The cheese enchiladas had a lot Of cheese melted on them and very little in them. Tasted like melted cheese in a flour tortilla. My husband had the spicy flounder. It came with 2 nice portions of flounder, cooked very well, however once again, it lacked flavor. I thought since it said spicy at least it would have some seasonings but my husband had to have the tartar sauce and ketchup to eat it. The food was very reasonably priced. Had the taste been there I would have recommended it. Nice little restaurant if you are sensitive to spices this might be the place for you. However as native Texicans, we expect our food to have at least salt and pepper. Wait staff was attentive and professional. We had ordered a baked potato go for our son before we got our food. I'm hoping I can update this post, but not holding my breath.
