Both my husband and I enjoyed working with him and his assistants at the engagement session, and on the wedding day. He was very open to our request to make some of the engagement photos into professional shots, and he asked us where we wanted the shoot to take place. Also, his prices are very reasonable, which is hard to come by in Boston if you want high-quality photos. If you are looking for a great experience, and beautiful photography, then David's your man.

I did tons and tons of research for all my vendors and it was easy to see David was the best, and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something a little different, maybe even a little artistic. I wanted pictures that people would want to look at, rather than just another wedding album. David listened to everything I said and took my vision. Rather than traditional photos I wanted pictures of my wedding party and I walking through the North End during one of their festivals of the saints. David completely listened to me and allowed us to take awesome pictures that we will treasure forever. Thank you David for everything, and anyone who is looking for a photographer who will really listen and take pictures from the second your day starts until the last minute of your reception- David is your guy!

My fiance and I are getting married in Ohio, but live in New York. We didn't want to make a special…read moretrip to Ohio for engagement pictures, so we decided to do them in New York. A friend recommended Arnav, and I'm glad I took the recommendation! We reached out to Arnav--who was incredibly responsive to all of our requests--and set up a time for the shoot. He had a bunch of great ideas for locations, but since Tom and I got engaged in Central Park, live near Central Park, and just generally spend a lot of time there, we decided that it would be the most meaningful choice (cliche as it may be). The session was essentially a stroll through the park. Arnav has a great eye for what photographs well, so when he saw a promising spot (setting, lighting, etc.), he would pose us and off we'd go. And the photographs were wonderful! I generally don't consider myself the most photogenic of people (I just can't master the fake smile), but Arnav did a great job making the photographs genuine and attractive. He has a particular talent with lighting and uses unique vantage points that make for pictures that are both unique and interesting. In addition to the amazing quality of the pictures, Arnav was also just enjoyable to work with. Having experienced wedding photographers who were nightmares, it's hard to overstate how important it is to be comfortable with someone--someone who can get the good shot without being too demanding or abrasive. The only piece of advice I would give (and this hold for any photographer, not just Arnav) is to ask if you want a particular photograph. Photographers aren't mind readers! Anyway, long story short, I would definitely recommend Arnav to all of my friends and family. The photographs were beautiful, and the experience was stress-free--all I could have hoped for.

We had several conversations over the phone before the shoot and was amazed at the amount of research Arnav did about the weather/time of day, locations etc which would be best for our shoot. He also made great recommendations about props, our attire and made us do so many fun poses! We actually enjoyed our shoot so much - even my fiance who wasnt the most keen to do this later admitted that I chose a great photographer and this was a good idea:) He is extremely innovative, fun to work with and made us feel extremly comfortable We ended up having a great time and the pictures were JUST AMAZING!!! Mark is affordable and the quality photos you get working with him are comparable to photographers charging triple his price. He gets people to smile easily and gets quality photos in a timely manner. We got all the shots we needed so quickly! He definitely knows what he is doing and I didn't even need to give him a list of photos I wanted or family photos, which for me meant I really trusted him and his work. I usually make lists for everything! By the time I went to bed on our wedding night he had posted an amazing "sneak peak" photo which was so nice to have right away. Within the next few days he had posted quite a few more preview photos that we loved. Before the wedding we had an engagement photo shoot with Mark included in the package price! From the engagement shoot to…read morethe day of the wedding, Mark was flexible in all that we were looking for and he was always very responsive! The man has an eye for photography as is proof from the hundreds of pictures he took at our wedding. Many other photographers rely on Photoshop to edit their pictures, and often, this gives the pictures an unrealistic look, but Mark is just a master of his camera and takes great shots to begin with so he doesn't have to over-edit! My parents owned a photo processing shop for over 20 years, and as such, I have looked at and printed, easily over a million pictures over the years, so I am very picky about my photography. I was able to identify Mark's skills through the sample pictures he had on wedding wire and his website, and though I had never met him before, I called him and signed a contract within a day of finding him. And let me tell you that me, my wife, and the real judges (my parents) were extremely pleased with the quality of pictures and the moments that Mark was able to capture! Thanks again Mark for such a wonderful job! You and Dori rock!

This was our experience: While checking out photographers on line, a friend of mine tagged us on FB that we were looking for a photographer....Gaby, reached out to us right away. After talking with Gaby and looking through the Chiha Studios website, we got such a good vibe that we decided to go meet with her. (Father and Daughter Duo!...this was different) When we met with Gaby, she took the time to show us her work and explained the type of photography she did and she also took her time to get to know us and to ask us what we were interested in doing for pictures. She made sure we were well informed of all the aspects of wedding photography, wedding photo shoots and gave us ideas as well.... we didn't know where to start or what direction to go in. Gaby was very helpful through the whole entire process, she helped us establish a time line of events for our wedding from beginning to end. The day of our wedding Gaby and her father Pierre were amazing, capturing every angle, every picture, even requests by our guests. They make a great team and we had so much fun having our pictures taken by them and had so much fun with them. Any nervousness and stress from that day flew right out the window! Our photo reveal was great, we felt like we were back in that moment for the first time. We loved all the pictures that we kinda had a hard time picking which ones to put into our wedding album LOL! So that took a while but Gaby was very patient with us and helped us and guided us once again and we are definitely happy with our choices and more than satisfied with the entire experience. Thank you Gaby & Pierre for everything and such a wonderful experience!! David & Lisa

Then, we stumbled across Bob's website and we were instantly captivated. Unlike many photographers, who shoot the scenery but somehow fail to capture the essence of the day, Bob's pictures were lively and intimate. Bob incorporates three elements into his wedding photography: an engagement shoot, pictures on your wedding day, and another session after the wedding in tux and dress. Bob is attentive and creative, ensuring that he takes high quality photos of the couple and their family/friends. Bob is pleasant to work with and he accommodated all our requests. His affable manner and flexibility made the day a breeze. It felt like we were with friends, not being chased by flashes of paparazzi. I've seen so many wedding photos I can't count them all... all are beautiful... and though I'm admittedly biased because of my own memories, I firmly believe that ours are the best! I would choose Bob again in a heartbeat and can't recommend him highly enough.
