I got accused of not listening to advice about my kitten's care after being desexed. This was as I was leaving the vet after having another kitten desexed months later. The senior vet nurse started on me about not staying for the other kitten's post op debrief. In actual fact, I did. I was given a cone for her rather than a body suit. She was not getting on with the cheap plastic cone so I had to get another body suit from a different vet. I bought 3. The kitten pulled the first 2 off over night. She got an infection. The vet stapled up the wound a few days after surgery without pain killer or local anaesthetic. I was not advised of or asked if I wanted this treatment. After the vet nurse's tirade, I emailed her to find out what it was about. I got informed in writing that I had ignored and defied medical advice. When I recently sent a posted letter, I was sent a brief email saying I was not welcome at the surgery any more. I was not returning there anyway, as completely false accusations were made against me about my care. That irked me. A lot. I am a cat rescuer and so I do not take these falsehoods lightly. My complaint was totally ignored and I was made the villain. Nothing was investigated as far as I can tell. Sweep the problem under the carpet. People need to know that this vet clinic is making notes based on assumptions about the pet owner and then making unfounded accusations. My 6 cats are totally well cared for and very well loved. No harm would ever come to them by my hand. No fur baby of mine will ever go there again and I beseech people to take reviews seriously and choose a different vet. 8 minutes ago NEW 8 minutes ago NEW Do not go to this vet wish they had zero stars! They have completely botched my staffies simple lump removal! They cut way too much out and it was not needed as the lump was not cancerous, they cut the wrong way also then ran into trouble sewing her up! They used glue and 3 dissolvable stitches which is not the best. My staffies head is left looking worse than before! This was not what we discussed prior. They didn't even send her home with proper medication. Went and seen an owner there this morning, they made sure the vet who did the op wasn't there, the owner we seen was aggressive and didn't want a bar of what we were saying of course insists theu did it the correct way! A much older more experienced vet has confirmed what we already knew to be true. Will never any of my pets here again! Zero stars. Photos are before and after op.. read more

During the appointment, the vet diagnosed a stomach upset and administered an injection, which I was told was for pain relief. However, after checking online, I discovered it was actually intended to stop vomiting. Shortly after returning home, my dog began showing discomfort in his arm joints -- an issue that wasn't addressed during the visit. I contacted the clinic for advice and was told someone would follow up, but I never received a call. When I returned in person, I was informed I'd need to pay for another consultation, on top of the A$120 I had already paid, just to get a proper diagnostic evaluation. I asked to speak with the vet or a manager but was told the front desk assistant was the manager. I'm disappointed by the lack of follow-up, poor communication, and what feels like a costly oversight that could seriously affect my dog's health. I would have appreciated more thorough care and better customer service to ensure my dog's concerns were properly addressed.

Firstly if you want a bird or have a bird then you need to visit this place. There are no ifs or buts about it. They have many different types of birds for sale, and deal with breeders who hand raise birds if you wanted a companion rather than a pet. You pay more, but that's to be expected as hand raised birds have a lot of time invested in them. They're also the cheapest bird store by far with a large range of toys. Your parrots and larger birds can get bored and they can recommend what to get based on your bird. If you need help training they can also point you in the right direction. We've also bought 2 cages from the place. They offer many different styles of cages, and again they can recommend ones that you need. They're not pushy sales people and won't try to sell you the biggest and the best if you don't need it.
