They were paid every month which I have receipts of. This should have been done in a timely fashion. 2022 rolled around and I kept asking them when they will have my 2021 taxes prepared. The Company kept dodging my question. On May 31, 2022, I fired them because they did not prepare my taxes and I could not get any answers about when tax preparation will be complete. The only answer I got was from the Accountant Jennifer that was assigned to my company, that it was sent to the owner for review. I have a very small one-man operation company. Very simple to do. I had to hire a new CPA and pay the new firm to prepare my 2021 tax returns. This cost me a lot of money to pay for a new firm. I had already paid Hooks CPA to do it. I have also had to pay penalties for late filings on both state and federal taxes. This firm was paid in full to do a job and that was to prepare my taxes. Which was never done. I am extremely disappointed. It has caused me money which I don't have, due to high unprofessionalism. They have had lots of turnover with employees due to the poor quality of management. I received the 2014 return in a timely fashion, and I waited another two weeks for the 2015. This is a lie because I've done this myself before and submitted both years at once. It is now 5 months later from originally hiring her and I still have not received the 2015 return. I requested that she follow up 4 weeks ago and she said she would, but still has not gotten back to me.
