A local artist's vibrant paintings inspired by the area's history and people are displayed on the walls and that artist is often in the shop to talk with. There are gorgeous, unique finds all throughout the store. But the side I have spent the most time in is the one with the well-organized, vast selection of children's books, antique prints, postcards, classics, and toys. I most enjoyed talking with the shopkeeper, Ed, after I asked him about his favorite of the postcards. He told me all about Pocahontas, WV and signed the postcards from there for me. He's the best part of the whole store experience and I look forward to coming back next year!
