It just keeps junior on the call list for when he decides to show up. My AAA 2:04 PM call had a tow lined up and indicated the driver would arrive by 2:39 PM. At 3:56 PM I was contacted by AAA confirming the first driver cancelled (CJ) and they were contacting a new driver. I received a phone call from the new assigned driver, Jimbo, been in busy for over thirty years, at 4:07 PM indicating he was in down town Durango-30 minutes out. Needless to say Jimbo was timely and professional, but due to junior canceling, by the time Jimbo was ready to tow my car it was after 5 PM. And I just recently heard that a family left in 17 degree weather had a similar experience, Mancos tow accepts the call, doesn't show up and they ended up waiting over two hours for a new driver. Mancos Tow needs to be pulled from AAA towing services as being absolutely too unreliable.

Darnell the owner answered the phone on Sunday when they were closed. Told me to call Frank at the shop first thing Monday morning. They would get me help. Frank sent us Logan on Monday morning where we were broke down at the Maverik gas station overnight. Logan was very polite, professional and he knew his stuff. He hooked up his scanner and figured out what was wrong very fast. Codes showed poor air flow. He removed the big air cleaner and knocked it on the ground. The debris that came out explained the check and stop engine light. Did a hard restart on the system and sent us to the shop to meet him there so we could get air filter replaced. Replaced the air filter and did another hour reset and we were good to go. Thanks to Darnell for answering the phone on Sunday. Thanks to Frank for dispatching Logan so fast. Special thanks to Logan for getting us back on the road. My wife, aunt and 2 dogs thank you very much. I highly recommend them for excellent and fair and trustworthy service!!!!

FIrst thing in the morning we limped over to Daves (DR Radiators) Shop before he opened. Waiting at the front door at 7am he peeked out and said, "I had a feeling someone needed some help this morning!" He immediately got to work diagnosing the problem(after welding the problem we found more so we went NEW) and making the calls to get us on the road. Being a special radiator it might have taken him a day as he thought but he called around and found it and had us on the road by 9am. Having had similar problems we estimated it'd be about $800. Dave came in well under that and wouldn't except a tip as he was happy for the work and he hoped we wouldn't see any other problems. Two thumbs up to Dave for being hardworking, and genuine! She said they were booked out until August 10th, so I made an appointment for that day (I called about 2 weeks before that). She said to be there by 8:30 a.m. and to plan to leave my vehicle there all day. I arrived and was told by Robb I wasn't on the schedule. I told him that I had called and scheduled an appt at 8:30 and he said he didn't make appts at that time, only 8, 9 or 10. I was already not impressed. I already knew what was wrong, but they had to do a 'diagnostic' on it. The cost to fix was about $300 more than the first place I took it. Then I had to pay $90 for them to tell me what I already knew - that the CV boot/axle needed replaced. Seriously? I've never taken a vehicle in to a shop and paid for an estimate. And I really didn't need an appointment as originally told, because they were done within an hour. When I checked in, Robb told me I could wait two hours and then see if I needed a ride. You would think the service schedulers would know what's in the queue and have an idea of how long it would take. They went and got Deb and she said she had scheduled me in the system. Then Robb told me that she was retiring at the end of September. What difference does that make? I expect to talk to people who are competent and know what is going on. Do not bother with Keesee service dept. Complete waste of time and $90.
