I have no idea of the quality of the clothing that we received. what I do know is it was made in China. When we order the clothing the website said that it was a US manufacturer. When I called up to check on my order I ask are the clothes made in the US? I was assured that yes these are United States made. I received the clothing and it said made in China all over it. I think it's time to divorce myself from Blair after many years of occasional buying mediocre clothing (I know going in what the quality is like but sometimes you just need that inexpensive item...). Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There is a definite language barrier on the phone, and their written correspondence leaves a lot to be desired. This time 'round, I purchased 4 pairs of "lounge" pants....very thin, which I figured, but I ordered one size, they sent me another. I returned them indicating they were either mismarked or simply the wrong items sent, and I was charged 9.99 to return them. Sending me the wrong merchandise should not cause a return fee. It was THEIR doing, not mine. My original purchase was $95.61, and when they refunded me, they deducted $25. I wrote and asked them about this, and they said they "NEVER" refund return shipping fees. I wrote back asking them to itemize the $25 deduction; even after I absorbed the $9.99 as a loss, why the difference of $15? They had no answer but they did credit back the $15. My 90 year old Mother has been a catalogue customer of Blair for at least 20 years and has used her account she has with them. She recently placed an order with them. After the order had not been delivered by the date they said it would be some rude kid and told her she had to send a check or pay with a credit card or they couldnt send it. She told him just to cancel the order because he was so rude. He didnt try to save the order of check her history. Guess what? I bought 2 fleece snap front robes through the mail. They're terrible. The site says they have 2 thousand plus reviews, but there is no place to add a review. Too bad, because few people will see it here. I ordered PS, but the sleeve length is the only thing petite. The pockets are mid thigh, and the shoulders hang 2 inches off the shoulder. There are some companies that place customer satisfaction and generating long term loyalty at the top of the priority list, and there are others that choose to place protecting the profit margin on each sale even at the cost of customer satisfaction. Blair is clearly in the later group. The charge a $9.99 for return shipping (an amount that at USPS rates makes this a profit center for them) and use a special zip code that does not allow you to affix your own postage (as reported by usps.com when I tried to look up a rate to do my own shipping back to them). My wife unfortunately likes their stuff, but I am trying to wean her on to a company that values customer loyalty and not one that sees each customer as a chicken to be plucked today at any cost to their reputation. read more

I placed an order for 4 items, they immediately sent me a confirmation of the order. The confirmation showed one shirt had the wrong size listed and I immediately emailed back customer service. They emailed me back and said the order process is automated and there is nothing they can do about it other then wait for the wrong item to ship and then for me to return it (for an extra $10 shipping fee). When you order an item, it will say it is in stock but it is not and it may take up to a month or more to get it. Trying and talk to the rude customer service people is a joke. Their Customer Service Lady charged me nearly $15 which was full price for a clearance top that should have been $4.00. I have had problem after problem. Recently ordered a pair of curtains from this website, only to be sent the wrong color item. Upon calling customer service, their own representative mentioned it being a clear mistake and wanting us to send the product back as an exchange. When the item arrived, they not only charged us and took more then half of the order's amount to ship it back for their own mistake but also drew some of the money towards credit that was never agreed upon. Worst company I've ever dealt with! O ordered many shirts from them, and one looked like it would be my favorite. All the shirts were delivered with the exception of "my favorite". After numerous phone calls and Blair excuses, I was told MONTHS LATER that the shirt was out of stock! They lied to me for months. I canceled this company and their catalogues---but the catalogues kept being delivered. Unfortunately, I decided to give them another chance and ordered from them again. This time the complete order was delivered. Since this Covid debacle, the USPS was relaying to all customers to experience delays in deliveries. I sent a check, full amount, and the check was cashed in my bank. (Supposedly a day or two after the due date.) Yesterday I received a late fee bill!! My check to six days (Florida to Texas--their bill took 11 days to arrive). Delays from the USPS is okay for Blair, but not for their clients. The woman I spoke to in billing was not nice, even speaking elementary logic to her. Well, I'm finally done with Blair. They have instructions that I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANOTHER CATALOGUE AGAIN!!! At this point I asked them to cancel the order as I wouldn't have time once received to get them hemmed . I received this message back: We apologize, however, we are unable to cancel your order as requested. Our records indicate that your order has been processed and should ship soon. I've purchased several articles of clothing from Blair. Their catalogs and website are so enticing, especially when they have sales. Unfortunately, their website and catalogs do not accurately reflect the clothing size. Although they readily accept merchandise returns, customers lose the shipping cost each time. After complaining that their merchandise was being returned solely because their sizing charts were grossly incorrect, skirts literally so large that they dropped to the floor, I was told that a customer who uses their return label will be incurring the 9.99 shipping cost. When explaining to customer service that I would have been keeping the items had they been reflective of their advertising, they simply repeated their company's return mantra. Bait and Switch! I was jacket shopping, and somehow they got wind of it from the google search engine and I got pop up ads. Went to the site with 50% off clearance items and free shipping. I found a jacket, PJs, 2 sweaters and 2 tops and ordered them. Paid via paypal. Order went through just fine. Later got an email that all items except for the 2 tops were out of stock. The tops useless to me without sweaters. No luck canceling order. I doubt that the other items were ever available. They corrected paypal payment after I contacted customer service via email. Do not buy the Adjust-A-Band mens pants. I have purchased several pair over the last two years only to find that the elasticity fails completely. The result is a gaping patch of the white pocket material of the pocket protrudes out on each side appearing that it is torn. They are completely unwearable. I am sure many others are experiencing the same problem. I have written several Email complaints to Blair, but they have gone unanswered. So far, I have discarded three of the six or more pairs that I have purchased. I am expecting the others to fail soon. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Because my mom is old school and doesn't know how to use internet ordering, I ordered 2 skirts on her behalf. I initially selected the wrong size but noticed the mistake and edited the cart. I proceeded with the order and was about to check out when I noticed the wrong size was displayed again. I thought it was weird but figured maybe I didn't hit save or something. So I changed to the right size again and received the "cart updated" message. Lo and behold, upon submitting my order the confirmation email had the wrong size that I'd changed TWICE. I immediately tried to contact customer service by phone but they are closed weekends (this was early Sunday morning) so I sent an email. Having received no response by early Monday afternoon, I called to have the order fixed. I explained everything that happened to the phone rep and she refused to do anything. She said the order was too far into the shipping process to be changed or cancelled and that my mom would just have to wait to receive the wrong items and send them back for an exchange. The phone call took place no later than 1 pm on Monday. The skirts did not ship until Saturday. How the holy fuck were they too far into the shipping process to correct the issue that was due to THEIR crummy website? I have never been so pissed off with a company's customer service. The inside supposed fleece lining pills so badly that it filled up the dryer vent, 3 times. Washing did not eliminate the problem. This garment is unwearable, and the company policy deducts $9.99 from the return, making it pointless to return this rag. I ordered a mans jacket in January and paid for it with a VISA gift card. It arrived but was way too big. I immediately returned it for an exchange for a smaller size, and then I waited. First call to customer service, I was told to be patient for another week. Second call I was informed they had to wait until the returned coat was received and processed. Third call, I was told the credit card was denied. For what, this is an exchange? BLAIR charged the gift card a total of $129.99 for a $39.99 coat before finally correcting the transactions and shipping the coat. It arrived on March 12th. I called to request a catalog for my 93-year old, ailing father-in-law. Since he does not live with me, Blair would NOT send a catalog to his address without speaking to him personally! I called from my home, and he was not here (he rarely leaves his house anymore). As I said, he is not in good health and can't spend enough time on the phone to request his own catalog. All I asked for was a catalog - to give business to this company! I guess they don't want another order, as I wouldn't order anything from them even if the items were free! If it was possible to give the no stars I would! I placed an order on March 25th for clothes for my mom who is a nursing home. Every time I checked the status of the order it said processing. After 3 weeks I called to find out why it had not been processed. The response I got was the credit card could not be processed. Knowing the card is absolutely fine I asked why I was not notified if there was a problem rather than let I keep showing as "processing". There was no explanation for that. I explained there was nothing wrong with the card and they offered to process the order again. I was told the card was excepted and I would receive the order in 8 to 10 business days. That was 3 days ago. Today I receive an email telling me that they could not get authorization for the card. I called the bank and the bank assured me that the authorization was given on the card. I again called Blair and said that the bank approved the purchase and I was told that it had not been because the billing and mailing address were not the same. I told them it was the same and suddenly I was told That my order would be shipped in 8 to 10 business days. So now I have been waiting for these clothes to arrive since March 25th and it is going to take another 8 to 10 business days, and that is if there are no more problems. I emailed the company to tell about the problems I was having and got a curt "sorry we will notify the proper department" Obviously there is a lot of room for improvement in this company!!! read more

My rating would be minus ten stars if possible. I have been buying from New Process/Blair since the 1950's. I ordered three shirts on 8/13/2020 and they have screwed around since then and on 9/1/2020 I checked my online order and it was still showing "in process" yet their site shows shipping takes 6-8 business days, not the almost 3 weeks I have waited. They have my number which they claim will be called if there is a problem. I got no call. I have tried to change my billing address several times and their site will not allow me. It shows a billing address I have not lived at for many years before obtaining the credit card I used from a new bank. The idiot I spoke to blamed the bank. IMPOSSIBLE, as I did not have that bank or card until after I left that address. The so called customer service idiot kept saying she was not the bank and could not change it. She had no answer for anything I asked her. She constantly ramble on talking over me even when I started speaking first. If I were her boss she would be immediately terminated! Customer service people are supposed to serve the customer, not piss them off at every turn. She is a text book example of how a customer service person should not act !!!! So I learned nothing about my order, am still unable to change my billing address as all she did was keep saying she was not the bank. Without the correct billing address for that card the bank may not approve the charge. I could not find out when or if my order would ever be shipped. Why their site does not allow customers to change their personal information or anything else of value. ALL I learned was how this misplaced jerk got hired for a position she had no skill, ability, temperament, demeanor or aptitude for. She is mentally disabled, and does not have the funds or financial responsibility to use a credit card, and I don't understand how you were able to let her already start purchasing items with her new "card." She doesn't pay her bills. I do, and because she is on Medicaid there is very little left over at the end of the month. I am handicapped and it's hard for me to go out and shop. I've bought a good deal of my clothes for myself and my mother from Blair and their other brands and spent several thousand dollars, but no more. All over a $10 dispute. I received a rewards coupon with my last bill. It didn't say how much it was. I found a shrug I wanted for $19.99 and punched in the code on the coupon at checkout. It came up $19.99 off and free shipping so I owed $0. I have a screen shot of the transaction. The next day I received an email from them saying I owed $10 if I wanted the shrug because the coupon was only worth $10. I had thrown the coupon away since I had the screen shot of owing $0 and still have it. I called them and they refused to budge so I contacted the Ohio AG. After about a month someone from Blair wrote the AG and said they would not honor the original transaction (I have the letter) so I'm not going to do business with them any more. All their catalogs will be going in the trash. What business wants to lose a customer over $10? This one I guess. Can you imagine what would happen if Kohl,s, Amazon, BBB JCP etc honored a coupon and then the next day emailed you and said we made a mistake and we're taking the coupon back? I have placed 2 orders with Blair and now had to call 3 times because the items don't ship - Blair says they shipped 2 days ago but UPS still doesn't have it. Blair promises delivery within 4-8 days but 5 days have passed and there is no movement on the shipments. Even though UPS still doesn't have the shipment, Blair cannot cancel the order. The first order never processed; after week and a half, Blair said they would overnight the order; all items were marked in stock. Part arrived 3 days later and the second half of the order arrived two weeks later. To make matters worse, one of the shirts from my first order is marked cotton on the website and it really a polyester blend on the tag. With so many options with superior customer service, why waste the time messing around with this mess? read more

Every single time customer service is called they continue to provide the same tracking number that shows the item was never received to UPS yet. Blair says that it's not their problem and to wait 30 days for a refund. What a scam of a company! I am appalled at the response or lack of response given each and every time. How is it that UPS hasn't received the package 3 weeks after the order was placed and money was charged. Well customer service will only help you if you agree to pay 2$ more for a protection plan.
