We had high hopes when we hired Blair Ballin, but unfortunately, our experience left us feeling misled, under-informed, and disappointed, particularly in how little was explained to us throughout the home-selling process. This was our first time selling a home, and what we needed most was someone who would educate us and walk us through the process clearly. Instead, key details, like how commission was structured, were either glossed over or never fully disclosed. We were left to piece things together ourselves, sometimes after it was too late to make informed decisions. At several points, it felt like we were being nudged along a track without being fully told what we were agreeing to or why it mattered. When we later tried to get clarity, it was met with defensiveness rather than accountability. Real estate is stressful enough without having to second-guess whether your agent is being forthright. We expected guidance, transparency, and proactive communication. What we got was vague explanations and a "figure it out later" vibe. If you're a first-time seller or buyer who needs clarity and support from your agent, I'd strongly recommend thinking twice before working with Blair. Our experience felt transactional, not professional, and in the end, we paid for it in more ways than one. read more

I am writing this to recommend Blair Ballin as a realtor. We started looking for houses as the pandemic was starting and found Blair online. Prices had not started to go up but the market was beginning to get competitive. My wife contacted him on a Friday and we were looking at three houses on Monday. He showed us the pros and cons of the three houses and one, we fell in love with. From there he took over, advising us on how to proceed. Following his advice, we put in an offer, and it was accepted. Blair suggested a wonderful mortgage lender and stuck with us all the way. He stays in contact with us to this day. Blair Ballin is a man of high integrity, common sense, and just an overall, good man. If I ever decided to sell this house and buy something else, I would definitely call Blair. read more

Does not treat all clients with equality or fairness nor does he listen effectively. Buyers and sellers there are so many quality agents to choose from. He is not one of them. What you see and how he presents himself is NOT what you get when not in the public eye. He is NOT a team player and throws a MANtrum when held accountable. read more

How would you feel if your realtor was under contract for half a year (6 months) and never held one single open house? How would you feel if your realtor mislead you? How would you feel if your realtor did not care about your concerns? How will you feel when you've wasted your time and money for six agonizing months? What if your realtor told you your house needed fancy upgrades and encouraged you to settle for tens and tens of thousands of dollars below market price so he could score a quick and effortless commission? If any of the above would bother you, I do not recommend Blair Ballin. After " working with" Blair for 6 months I feel demoralized, used and completely mislead. He is simply unwilling to lift a finger unless the sale walks conveniently through his door. read more

We enjoy working with Blair. He is friendly, knowledgeable and is always responsive when we have questions. We highly recommend him!

If you're looking for a real estate agent who actually knows what they're talking about, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Do not trust Blair's claims about his experience - they are often not true. If you question him, he gets overly defensive and extremely rude. Never mind the spam he continually sends you after joining his moderated Phoenix Facebook group. read more

Blair is a superb realtor. He is extremely patient and great at what he does. When my husband and I were looking for a home, he listened to what we wanted and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Great realtor with nice advices and personality. Will hire him for the next purchase when we need for sure!

Received a random call with no voice message left. Called back to inquiry what the phone call was about. Received a TEXT message soliciting personal information. Kindly responded that if he had any inquiry about my personal information that a phone call was most appropriate.. Suffice to say, i received NO CALL BACK. I don't know this individual to be answering personal information about myself via text. I don't even know what this individual does until i looked up your number and found you on yelp. You have a professional photo... and it seems to end right there. read more

I cant express enough satisfaction I had dealing with Blair. Being an out of town investor, Blair took his time, and did not rush me locating a great rental property. When we couldnt find my dream investment the 1st time out. Blair went out, and took a bunch of videos for me to review. Well, I found the perfect rental home AND Blair also got the price knocked down, an additional 10%. I did not expect that. And obviously was VERY happy and impressed! I will recommend Blair, to all my friends, And will buy another home from him. Do yourself a favor an work with Blair, It'll be your best decision ever! Tim Ingersoll read more

My husband and I were first time homebuyers AND buying from out of state. We had a very limited timeline in which to buy our house, but within a 5 day period in which we were in town, Blair helped us find our house AND have it inspected before we flew back home. We LOVE our new house, and Blair and his team are largely to thank for making the process go so smoothly. Blair is dependable, quick to respond to calls/emails, and does a fabulous job of working with and coordinating the other players in the home transaction (bank, title company, seller, etc.) I coudn't be more pleased with my home buying experience and will absolutely use the Blair Group again! read more

Blair helped us sell our house quickly when we needed to get the sale done as soon as possible. He helped helped educate the other side of the deal professionally and not as some arrogant know it all since the Realtor and buyer on the other side were new to the buying experience. He communicated well with us, kept us apprised of the progress and helped guide us through the sale very quickly. Blair excells at negotiating. I would recommend Blair to anyone needing a Realtor or Real Estate Services. I also recommend Four Peaks Brewery for great beer. read more

Steer clear of this person! He had the audacity to write on a Facebook page that it was a client's fault when she got scammed and ripped off by her agent! It appears unscrupulous birds of a feather flock together! Buyer beware. read more

When my parents (who were living in California at the time) were looking for a home in AZ, I was lucky to find Blair to help me search high and low to find the perfect home for my parents to retire in. Blair went out of his way to find the perfect area and home for my parents. We must have looked at 10 homes before we found the perfect one. He was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Blair to anyone (and have) who is looking to sell or buy a home. read more

Called me out of the blue to harass me about a house I no longer own. I ask "where did you get this incorrect information, and how did you get my number?" He hangs up while I'm in mid-sentence, and won't answer when I call him immediately back. VERY shady, very suspicious. Would definitely not trust this person or his business. read more

I have used Blair Ballin as my realtor 3 times and each time has been an A+ experience. He is a true professional and a trustworthy individual (which sorry to say isn't the case in my experience with lots of realtors). Most recently, I used Blair's real estate services for the purchase of my current home. Even though there were multiple offers on the table and ours wasn't even the highest, Blair was able to develop a rapport with the seller's agent and get us the acceptance. Needless to say, we were escstatic and love our new place. If it wasn't for Blair, I don't think we would've been able to get it. I wouldn't hesitate to use Blair in any future real estate transactions and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smart, savvy and trust-worthy realtor. read more

I rarely write recommendations or endorsements, but with Blair Ballin, there is my exception. I met Blair through Facebook and then in person and he impressed me as an extremely honest, direct, and knowledgeable person who won't waste your time with a lot of useless "fluff". I found Blair's ability to look you straight in the eye and tell the truth, yet also be able to emphasize with your situation very powerful. He does what over 95% of agents in the country SHOULD be doing on a daily basis SHOULD BE DOING but do not. It takes a strong person to keep a daily schedule and actually work diligently in real estate, plus constantly practice self improvement in various aspects of his profession. I also respect the fact that Blair is a devoted family man and it shows! I personally would not hesitate to use or recommend Blair and his team; it's a good feeling to know you really do have someone on your side. read more
