It's hard not to love this place. Oh, and it's one of very few spots in the area that is open for dinner, which is quite hungry for some hungry cyclists riding through. This spot was on the list for years, but something always got in the way. One year it was packed with Mizzou graduation groups, one year our train delays kept us from making the reservation, but this year, it finally happened. We dined on the outdoor patio on a beautiful early summer night. My friend is vegetarian and I often am in solidarity, so it was nice to see so many options on the menu. We had salads, the "bread service" appetizer, and potato gnocchi that were all delicious. They also had a veggie ratatouille that sounded good. We enjoyed the sunset views after dinner, chatting with some friendly locals. You can also access this space directly from the Katy Trail. It's not exactly rideable since it's up a steep, gravel path on a bluff, but it's walkable. I didn't try wine on this adventure, but if you're a wine drinker, that's obviously a must since it's part of a local vineyard. All in all, this is a great stop and again it's really one of the only real options for a dinner if you're on bike and staying in Rocheport. Looking forward to a future return visit.

The service was always good and the ambiance relaxing. We attended a St. Patrick's Day event last year and it was wonderful. You will feel comfortable dressedup, or dressed a bit more casually. We have enjoyed many special brunches and dinners here over the years. My sister hosted her wedding reception here and it was wonderful. I wish they had more pop up events and were open on more weekends and special holidays. There are nearby trails for walking and Rocheport is nearby.

Cleansiness is HUGE for me, I walked barefoot in her beautiful wood finished floors....and to my surprise the "clean" feeling was omnipresent....my towels, the bath mats everything was just impeccable. I truly slept like a princess here. I will leave MO a new country girl, with new experiences. Ask her to give you a tour of her 8 acre property..its simply stunning!

From the very beginning Lisa was very helpful and very patient with all my questions and changes. She was always quick to respond with either a text or a phone call. On the day of the party our two servers, Victoria & Justine arrived right on time. Both worked quickly and were accommodating when certain needs came up during dinner. Transition from appetizers to dinner meal went smoothly. Both young ladies were very professional and courteous. The food was delicious.
