Noticing all the bikes and play equipment, it must be kid and small dog friendly as well. With the reasonable rates, it's a foresure place to check out!

We travel every year ( going between 18 states and 18 different rv parks) and have Never been told we were too early, if the space was available. He was very condescending and exhibited an aggressive attitude and said he knew 3,000 other campgrounds and they all had an early check in fee. We have been to this rv park several times, over the last four years, and it has always been one of our favorites. I have never been treated like this. This will be the last time we stay here! The icing on the cake is, my husband is a Vietnam Vet, and for him to be treated so disrespectful, on this memorial day weekend, is abhorrent.

I don't even like staying in our pop-up because it means we have to be near other people, so I usually prefer tent camping for solitude. Holy wow! This place is actually quiet at 10:00pm, 99% of the guests were delightful, the owners and employees went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, and we even participated in their Christmas in July festivities which included a potluck dinner and decorating contest. I will always remember this place and recommend it to anyone passing through or staying at the Ozarks. Love love LOVED it!!! (Part of me wants to give it a bad rating just to keep it a secret hidden gem because great reviews make places more popular and then all the crazies want to visit ;) But as Dolores Umbridge says, I must not tell lies) They're beyond professional, do a downright warm and friendly job of creating a magical place. I gave one and noticed a few minutes later I had a charge for $60 on my card already (2 nites x $30). Odd I thought as it was supposed to be like holding a hotel room I would have thought. Our plans changed from yesterday and I called to cancel. He told me he would NOT refund my money and asked why I gave him a credit card if I wasn't going to show up. Advised our family had changed plans and will be in a different city and since it was only 24 ours ago that I called, he should refund. He refused, swore at me and said he had been getting lots of calls to book spots. I replied, then refund me and you can book the same one again. He said, oh no, no guarantee I can rent the space now. Really?! Needless to say, I have spoken to Mastercard who opened a dispute case and will refund the amount. Note, there is nothing that he said or anything on their web site that indicates a booking is permanent and/or non-refundable.
