A MUCH better price than the hotels right next to the airport, yet this hotel/pub is just minutes from the hotel. The room was large and the bathroom was so nice and updated! The cow art in the hallways was sooooo cute! I loved loved it! The pub service could have been more attentive, but we were a little impatient as we wanted to repack for the flight the next day. The food was good! My husband enjoyed his flatbread pizza. My gammon steak was incredibly salty, like way too salty. Free parking. Easy check in/out Good WiFi We are back in the UK in August and we're already booking our overnight stay at this hotel. We're looking forward to it. Who says that about their night before a long flight?

Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

Warm, inviting and a very relaxed atmosphere make this place an absolute gem in the Cheshire countryside. The food is very much comfort food as is the case with most country pubs, but the place really does have the x factor. I have had some amazing lunch time banter in here over the years with friends. The location is perfect for people passing through this part and in terms for finding the place it is very difficult to miss it. The menu serves up some fresh pizzas and pasta at reasonable prices.
