When I inquired, I got a response and was asked to deposit within 24 hours, which is not a standard rule. Additionally, I received an invite to an app with a message from her. I tried to contact her through Instagram but got no reply. Despite these red flags, I still sent my deposit. The final straw was when she had a sale seven days later, and I requested to be included, but she said no. I've realized that I can't trust someone with questionable business practices to give me a tattoo. As a business owner, I believe a business should be careful not to alienate potential clients. If you really like her work, then get something small that would take 1-3 sessions to do and have VERY detailed reference photos ready during your consultation.
