I'm a native San Diegoan, and getting some legit street tacos in Tennessee is a dream come true. If you're not used to "authentic" street tacos, know that they are supposed to be "simple". Tortilla, meet, cilantro & onion, and maybe some salsa. Al Pastor should have pineapple too. My favorite thing to order is the "Mexi-can not Mexi-can't" which is three street tacos. I get the Al Pastor, and a side of queso and chips. Their queso is amazing and the chips are the best I have ever had. If you're used to "cheese" and things on your tacos, then I'd recommend ordering the gringo style. You should know that the beans aren't "refried", but seasoned black beans which are delicious but may surprise some people.

In talking with the owner (I presume), he was very curt with me. For example, when I politely asked about whether they would be in Oak Ridge later in the week, he said "Ugh...I have no idea." After ordering 2 Tropichops (chicken/rice/salad), I expected the food within a reasonable time. Unfortunately, they were VERY VERY slow. I'm talking over 45 minutes to prepare simple "food truck" food. When I approached the truck to inquire about the long delay, the owner was (again) quite rude. He never once apologized for the delay or even thanked me for my business. Overall, I am super disappointed. Crazy Cubans slow speed meant that my food from the other food truck went cold. Moreover, the Cuban entrees I tasted were some of the weakest and most inauthentic Cuban meals I have ever tried. And I know what I'm talking about.
