Had the most horrible experience of a lifetime in the T-Mobile store on Brooks today when just…read moretrying to return my modem to them. The agent there - a man who would not identify himself except for he was previously a private detective before beginning work there in May 2025. He was extraordinary in his violence, threats, and intimidation to me (a 68-yr-old woman with a disability) when he discovered I had cancelled my account and was returning the equipment! He yelled, cursed, hovered over me physically, threatened me, and engaged another customer (man) to threaten me, yelled political and misogynist threats and comments at me. I ask for assistance, he gave me the wrong information which I tried to dial while in front of him, when it didn't work he became more abusive, threatened to call the police. I stood at a back counter trying to hear on the phone as I called customer service. He phoned the police, loudly yelling while I tried to negotiate a phone call to the company. When they got me to a representative, he was still yelling loudly and on the phone to the police, for no reason. The company rep could hear him and filed a complaint for me and assisted me to get a return label for my equipment. I'm am never using T-MOBILE again in my life! What a rip off company that employs criminal-like staff in Missoula! Avoid them at all costs! I'm pleased with the service I've gotten from Verizon, at the mall. Beware!! Of all T-Mobile!!

So I asked the salesperson for help, and the response simply was "it's not our (T-Mobile's) problem, so I can't help you. I was disappointed. He didn't even offer a suggestion, except to say login again. Oddly enough, I later went into the T-Life mobile app, asked its AI agent for help and got an answer that fixed the problem. Now, tell me, couldn't the salesperson have given me that same help? I sure think so. So, I didn't appreciate the lack of service, and I guess I do like the app.

While I was there today I asked what it would entail to swap it for the larger phone and was told there would be a $70 restocking fee. I didn't make a mistake, the salesman did. They also said they didn't know who the salesman who sold me the wrong phone was.... Sure.... I'm a senior and needed their help with settings and all that. They did the bare minimum and told me I was good to go. They were unable to synch my earphones. So now my speakers and earphones are not hooked up. She helped me go over my options and I was intrigued by a certain promotion kyli told me I qualify for and I went with it. I was supposed to get myself and my fiancé a new iPhone 15 pro max, Apple Watch SE second gen's (mind you with the watches she told me they where basically free), WiFi, Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV all for us to trade in our current iPhones and a down payment of 900$ and pay the activation fees. And kyli also showed me my bill would be no more than 224.50$ a month. Well I let kyli know I would be happy to do that but I needed to get ahold of my fiancé before I paid the 900$ but I could easily do the activation fees same day and be in later in the week in person with my fiancé. I go in the next day and pay for one phone and get it ready for trade in. So I paid half of that 900$ she originally told me. I let her know I would be back in as soon as my fiancé was off work so we could do his and get everything switched over. Well my fiancé and I come back in and get ready to check out with his phone and now she's telling me the down payment has increased and i now have to pay an extra 1200$ for his phone. She also gave me a free case the day before and then she charged me for a case on his phone today along with two screen protectors which I easily could've gotten else where and didn't say anything until I checked my receipt. I'm a young expecting mother and I feel taken advantage of. On top of that she was messaging her boss and he was very adamant about making me lock in the previous day before. I'm unbelievably disappointed and I feel robbed. I never would've gone with them if I had known what the end result would be.

They did not refund me for a service that did not work, as T-mobile had promised me. Tech Support…read morewas helpful, even the guy at the store behind the counter was courteous. However, him asking of this store's manager, and "supposedly' his manager's boss (hidden away in a back room), they clearly stated there is nothing they can do with this initial charge. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS T-MOBILE LOCATION. I got ripped off- perfect example of horrible customer service.

We live 7 miles outside of Coeur d Alene. We thought Air-pipe was our only option. Absolutely the…read moreslowest, most intermittent internet service we have ever had. We are maxed out on their available speeds. Tech/ service guys are very helpful and nice but even they can not overcome the limitations of their technology. Neighbors just got Verizon's 4g LTE service and have no problems. Looks like we will be going that route. Sorry Air-pipe... we gave you three years to fix the service up here on the Cougar Gulch relay. Three years too long. From their business description, "Perfect for gaming or watching videos online" = total joke. If you enjoy watching 5 to10 sec snippets of a video at a time, this is the internet service for you.
