I love the separate entrance for cats and the vet and staff were all very personable and kind!

They are only in it for the money. Especially if your black. The facility is dirty and poor quality of care.

I walked in about 1pm on Saturday 7-11, and there was a 16 or 17 year old girl behind the counter. No one else in sight. She was on her phone and I walked up to the counter and stood there for at least 30-40 seconds before she bothered to look up. When she finally spoke she said "yeah, who are you here for." I said I had come in to get information and she just stared at me. I said " is this what you call customer service?" She just said "sorry" and literally check her phone again in front of me. I would NEVER trust my beloved dogs with a person like this - and no one else was within sight the whole time. How could I trust this place? Be cautious people- dog care and their safety is more than a part-time teenager's summer job.

I don't even have the words to describe how much I love Dogtopia, but I'll try my best to get all…read moreof my feelings into this review. Our dog is a rescue and is very anxious and skiddish. Taking her anywhere is a terrifying experience because we don't know how she will react and if she will spend the next few days avoiding us or refusing to eat. We decided we want to start taking her to daycare occasionally to try to help with her comfort level when we aren't around, especially if we ever have to board her for a weekend. When we brought her to Dogtopia for her interview she was instantly comfortable because of the staff knowing how to handle anxious dogs. We were able to watch on the cameras as she was introduced to the other dogs in the Gym. As we expected, she watched from the perimeter as other dogs played. (Having the cameras is the best, I'm so thankful Dogtopia has them to ease my worrying mind). Her first full day, she started off watching the other dogs, mostly hanging by the human in the room but still running away from the human if she ever tried to pet her. Toward the end of the day she started thinking about playing with other dogs, as she would walk up to them but then immediately run away if they reacted to her being there. The next time we sent her, she actually played with some of the other dogs. Any time the dogs got a little rough, the human would break them apart quickly. Now, after a few weeks of sending her to Dogtopia, we have a completely different dog. She is so much more confident and we have had no issues with her not eating her food due to anxiety. She seems so happy when we pick her up at the end of the day. If we ever go anywhere and have to board her, I won't send her anywhere else. Taking her to Dogtopia has been the best decision we have ever made and I have been spreading the word like wildfire to friends and coworkers. Not only are their prices great and facilities clean, the staff is incredible and well-trained to know how to care for all types of dogs with all types of personalities. Thank you, Dogtopia!!

The only reason we hired this place and spent almost $1000 was to work on the puppy biting. We were…read moretold they would be giving us a report card everyday on how the training was going. We gave our puppy a bath before going in and he came back smelling AWFUL. Even when we got him at the shelter he didn't smell that bad. So I have no idea how clean their facility actually is because he absolutely stunk every single time he came back from here. They did not work on the biting and did not give us a daily report card. It was a "trust me bruh" but they gave no explanation of what they had worked on whatsoever. When we asked the owner why they were not following through with the agreement made when we hired them, she tried pinning my husband and I against each other gaslighting us saying we didn't communicate together. Her exact quote was "it seems like you and your husband aren't communicating very well". Absolutely crossing the line. . Not only is that completely unprofessional as an owner to question a customer's marriage but to flat out lie is unacceptable. The owner is completely out of line and a scammer. They gave us zero information on what they worked on with our puppy and no report cards. We have no idea what he did all day while in their care. The report card we were told before hiring them would be DAILY. We got Monday's. Tuesday we didn't get one so on Wednesday I mentioned it to the morning staff. He stated they were down a trainer so we would get both today (wednesday). My husband mentioned it to the evening staff at pickup and was told the same thing but stated the delay was due to a sick trainer. Thursday morning we still haven't gotten a report card and haven't been told anything about what has been worked on. The owner tried lying stating they always had told us that we wouldn't be getting daily updates when that is a flat out lie. We had a call with the owner before hiring them where she stated we would be getting daily updates and SHE told us the class she thought would be best based on our goal. I can't stress enough how much of a liar this owner is and now she's trying to twist the narrative. We did not expect perfection we made it very clear we know he's a puppy. However, we have not been told a single thing of what they worked on with our dog. Nor has the biting even slightly gotten better. This was supposed to be a longer course, so the owner falsely framing this as if we expected a magical difference in three days is not only misleading but it is another lie. A complete waste of time and money. Do not recommend. They will tell you what you want to hear then change everything after you pay

She became critically ill during her stay and died on July 26 after my parents picked her up and took her to an emergency veterinarian. The timeline is a major reason for our concerns: * July 25: According to information the manager later provided to the emergency veterinarian, Linda began having soft stool. We were not notified then. * July 26, approximately 6:45 a.m.: Linda vomited. We were not notified at that time. * 11:47 a.m.: We received a notification that Linda had liquid stool. * Around 1:30 p.m.: Pet Ranch reported blood in or around Linda's mouth. * 1:36 p.m.: I called and specifically requested that Linda be taken to an emergency veterinarian. Pet Ranch already had our written authorization to obtain emergency veterinary care. After that call, an employee texted: "I just got off the phone with my manager she doesn't think we need to take them right now but she should definitely go at the earliest convenience. I can call the vet you mentioned and see if they have availability to see Linda if you would like." * Approximately 2:10 p.m.: My parents picked Linda up and took her directly to the emergency veterinarian. She died shortly after arrival. Kansas State's necropsy found severe pneumonia and pleuritis, severe inflammation and bleeding involving the lungs and their lining. The report described an acute respiratory infection that progressed to systemic bacterial infection, or septicemia/sepsis, as the likely ultimate cause of death. Lung cultures grew abundant hemolytic E. coli, and testing was positive for Mycoplasma cynos, a bacterium associated with canine infectious respiratory disease. Those findings do not establish where Linda contracted the infection. A big concern we have is why emergency veterinary care was not obtained after I specifically requested it, and why earlier symptoms were not communicated to us when they occurred. Since Linda's death, I have repeatedly sought an explanation. The Pet Ranch's insurance company has denied liability, but I still have not received an answer to why my request for emergency care was not acted upon. Linda was a member of our family. We trusted Pet Ranch to care for her and get her help when she needed it. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility.
