They serve only customers who have made an appointment, I repeat its APPOINTMENT ONLY. We came in without an appointment and although there was no one else in the store and four assistants who seemed fairly unoccupied, they completely ignored us other than to tell us quite rudely that they don't help anyone without an appointment. Although they have some nice designs and are one of the only places around Brisbane that make custom designed dresses, we refused to go back simply on the basis of how rudely we were treated the first time.

It was a rather formally dressed wedding, so we had a mad rush around Brisbane all day trying to find a formal gown and we came across this shop. The service I received from Winnie and the team was absolutely amazing! We literally stumbled into the shop - had no idea it even existed, and almost walked straight out because I thought it was only bridal gowns. The lovely gentleman greeted us though and encouraged us to come in when I advised that I was looking for a formal gown and showed us the full range they had to offer. Each of the designs were all made by Winnie herself, and were all unique. After a couple of dresses, I found one which was perfect - no alterations required! I am so happy with my dress and the service I received. I recently got engaged, and I'm planning on flying back down to Brisbane just to go to their store again because of the service we got. Really unique designs from other stores. My dress was Wtoo aline/ballgown $1300, veil $90, alterations $250. The ladies are lovely and organised, with a quite and pretty store. There's parking around the back. I got the usual quote of 5 months wait (six months before wedding, 1 month for alterations) but it arrived weeks early. Alterations were spot on. They only lose a star because the seamstress is only available weekdays and as someone who works in the city, I find this is inconvenient. I noticed last time I was in they also have killer bargains on ex-samples. Love this store!

I tagged along with a bride-to-be to this (and many, many others) bridal store and we both agreed that BellaDonna was the best. My friend was taken care of by Margaret, a lovely assistant who was really supportive and genuine. She took care of everything and was honest about the dresses the bride tried on, which is what you want when picking out a dress for the most important day of your life. Barbara, one of the other assistants wasn't as lovely, being unflexible and a little rude when appointments were booked, but otherwise it was a lovely experience and my friend ended up getting her gorgeous wedding dress from here. Appointments are necessary to go in on a Thursday night or Saturday but not needed on weekdays. You can check out all their designs on the website if you want to have a squiz before going in.

The dresses are absolutely beautiful, and an amazing selection including designers Maggie Sottero, Sottero Midgley and Pronavias. Not much under $2k for a bride. Air conditioning means no overheating and perfect sitting benches for the bridesmaids to await the future brides presentation. The assistant that day was very opinionated, sometimes its what you want, sometimes....not.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!…read more This was my first bridal store experience and it was absolutely horrible!! I was able to easily organize an appointment via email to be told an average appointment is between 45-60 minutes. Upon arriving early, as recommended, the sales clerk looked me up and down and proceeded to tell me that my choice in dress would be limited as my wedding was less than 6 months away. She quickly showed me the store and left me to pick out dresses without any direction (very overwhelming). I had to wear ridiculous white gloves that had holes in them and served no purpose...all the dresses were covered in make-up and had either holes (base of zippers) or loose thread/sequins!!! After trying on my first dress, she immediately looked at her watch and made no comment about any of the subsequent dresses I tried on. She did not once offer me to try on a veil or any accessory. I was very disappointed that no clips were used to fit the dresses to my body shape, instead, I was left struggling to hold the dress on myself and look in the mirror that had horrible unforgiving lighting. After approximately 6 dresses (with a watch glance after every single one), she told me that this was my last dress to try on as I wouldn't be able to remember any of the selections I had previously tried. In total, the appointment lasted less than 30 minutes. I thought trying on wedding dresses would be a fun and enjoyable experience....instead, this left me sad and depressed that I would never find a dress! I was very disappointed with the poor customer service and would NEVER recommended this store to anyone.
