Our driver was prompt, courteous, and arrived at the destination almost to the minute. This is amazing considering the distance we travelled, long weekend traffic, and highway construction. The office was extremely accommodating when we had to change our pick-up details 2x after the initial booking due to changing connections. Thank you for the stress-free transfers. read more

They deserve negative stars!!! shows up with a DEAD party bus! They did nothing to try to help find a different route. Didn't even attempt to try a different vehicle. And didn't care about the plans for pick up either. Received an email stating it's a normal Life event and it happens. Well you didn't try very hard to make up for the problem. If you have an event planned and want to make it to your event safely I really HIGHLY DO NOT recommend black tie limo. We ended up having to call 3 Ubers which they said they would contribute to but they did not. We jumped the bus with a 2024 Denali, as well as a 2015 Tahoe. The battery was not the issue and clearly they've had an ongoing issue with this vehicle. It was also super dusty and dirty. Shouldn't it have been washed since it's been sunny outside? Not that dirt matters when the event was tarnished thanks to them. read more

Black Tie Limousine - Email from business that failed their diligence - Limos Near Me

I had the terrible experience. Limo was old, smelly and dirty. And it was not for 12-13 people. We all were shocked to see the old limo. Foot step is all worn out. Speakers were sounding g terrible. I have use limo many times and never had bad experience as I had yesterday. Your driver has no idea of customer service. I am shocked that you are still in business. I wish I read the reviews about your company before booking you. 95% reviews are complaining same what I went through. This shows you the company doesn't care about customers. We were 10 ladies and we decided to let everyone in our circle know NOT TO BOOK YOUR COMPANY LIMO SERVICE. read more

We used Black Tie Limousine for my daughters wedding. The service was great the driver showed up on time and friendly. Arrived at the ceremony site on time. At the end of the evening came to pick up the Groom and Bride on time. The driver was friendly and ensured they got home safely. Thank you so much. Nancy read more

Very professional, prompt and courteous service. We had a great experience for airport transfer as well as our last year's Christmas party.

Worst ever. Driver showed up 15 min early and called every 5 minutes thereafter until we came out. Limo was an old & dented. Some of the tinting was peeling off the windows. Inside the TV was cracked but still left on. Wifi didn't work had to lug phone into play our music. We ended up at the wrong venue (my fault) but it was only 3 minutes away. He said he would only drive us over if I gave him $25 cash! Pretty sure if I had the correct venue the price would not have been $25 more They were supposed to pick us up at 12:5am. He began texting me at 10:30 asking if we were ready to leave. Then between 12:30 & 12:45 I received 7 texts asking us to hurry Never will use them again & I suggest you don't either read more

Holy shit. The driver told us no drinks in car. We had called earlier in the afternoon and were told it was good to have a glass of wine on our drive downtown. Very poor. We're always allowed to have a drink on the drive with other companies. Wouldn't stop for us when my son needed a restroom. Plenty of places to stop. Arrived at flying pig and driver just sat in car. We were waiting for him To come to open door like most drivers do. Lazy shit just sat in car. Picked us up on time but on way home something in rear end of car blew so we needed another car. Was pretty quick getting another ride but the driver was a real dick , The original driver that is.this company really sucks. Don't use them. Useless company. read more

I would not reccommend this limo company to anyone except as a shuttle from surrey to east van. My pals rented from these guys for their wedding and got a free "upgrade" to an SUV limo. I shudder to imagine what we were "upgraded" from. I'll get to that. What started it all was ridiculous. Whilst carting the groomsmen to the venue, the Driver (who was dressed more like my grandpa than a limo driver) got pulled over for using his freakin cell phone of all things. it took almost a half hour to deal with the cops. They poured out all their beer. On their way to their wedding. Their WEDDING. Think about that for a minute. He was calling his boss to get instructions on the technical operation of the aural entertainment interface (the radio). What professional driver doesnt have a bluetooth implant? So, they were running behind, needless to say. When the driver finally pulled up to the salon to pick up the bride & co., he DID NOT load our luggage. WE did. In our pretty dresses and make up and hair. Srsly. When we got in the limo, it was dirty. The tan faux-leather seats were obviously worn and stained, cracked, and ripped at the seams. There was sthg splattered all over the ceiling-mirror. There was goo in one of the cup holder ice things. The boys said they cleaned out the garbage that showed up with the limo for us. The garbage that they did not put there. The garbage from someone else that was not cleaned up by said driver in polyester pants and a polo. Anyway, we politely informed him that he would need to make a stop at an exit to pick up the ring bearer. He rudely refused. He said he would not go to get the RING BEARER because we were late. Because he got pulled over for being stupid. So there was to be no ring bearer at the wedding because this grumpy jerk in his dirty limo was doing sthg dumb. As you might suspect, the Bride had a few words for this guy. He called his boss, again. His boss told him to stop and pick up the ring bearer, but if they were a minute past the pre-paid time limit of 2:15pm to leave us on the side of the road. I'm not kidding. He did not unload the luggage. We did, and then he took off. We got a different limo at the end of the night. A '96 something, no doubt. I think it had a cassette player. A half hour early. The new driver informed us that his boss had told him, "that since there have been issues already with you guys, im supposed to leave you if you are late." He proceded to tell us we needed to leave the at 11:00pm. Despite that they had rented it until the wee hours of the morning. Prepaid. Despite the fact that this was their freakin WEDDING. The bride and groom had to leave their WEDDING early because of a small network of dickheads. Never. Call a cab. read more

I used his company for a short run from downtown to Kitsilano for a group of 5 attending a charity event. They quoted me $110 for one way plus driver tip plus tax for a total of $132. Seemed expensive for a 15 minute drive, but I agreed to it and made a booking. About a day before I asked what kind of vehicle we'd have and did not get a clear answer. I asked if it would be big enough to take a party of 9 instead of 5. Was told that they would have to change vehicles and it would increase the cost by $40. I said no need, and that we'd just be a party of 5. They sent a big dorky stretched SUV that had seating for 15. Two days before the booking I was invited to a different event with the limo services provided by VanCity Limousine Services [604 868 6869]. that was a return trip from downtown to 25th and Main. I was told the rate for that longer trip and return was less than I paid Black Tie. The driver VanCity driver took care to ensure that we were happy with the heater settings, the music and the lighting. The Black Tie driver gave us the same level of service as provided by a taxi and only asked about payment before he'd let us in the vehicle. Hardly what I expected for such a hefty price. I won't use Black Tie again. I have no personal connection to VanCity read more

very rude, and poorly run company. Go anywhere but here, they have a few different names and phones numbers so do your research carefully. Not worth bus fare let alone limo charges. read more

We used this company to do an airport drop off/pick up. The limo is older and was EXTREMELY dirty! The tv screen was all shattered. The seats were ripped. There was unknown stuff on the ceiling, floor, some seats, all over the "counters". There were EMPTY beer cans and a half smoked cigar. It was gross. When we came back a week later, the limo driver was late and argued with me about which time I had given him (I was very explicit with my instructions as we were arriving very late). The SAME empty beer cans were in the limo that were there before a week earlier! The cigar was still also there! The limo hadn't been cleaned at all. Because he was late, we asked the driver to do a second drop which is THREE BLOCKS from our house and on his way him. He wanted to charge us $40. He was rude and unfriendly. This company is cheap for a reason! I would NOT recommend using them EVER. An airport shuttle would have been more convenient, cleaner and friendlier. read more

Horrible unprofessional buisness practice. Says they are open 24/7 on there website. Spouse left her cell phone in there SUV Limousine Saturday night.Found out they are located in abbotsford not Vancouver! 70km away. Asked to pick up phone Sunday said they are closed. Also said he was in Calgary and no body is in the office. No employee would go in Sunday. Had to wait till Monday morning to get phone. There address online is incorrect also! Bad buisness attitude Black Tie Limousine ! read more

Never use this company!!! They have no idea about customer service and treat women horribly. We were a group of 8 women and were completely disrespected by our male chauffeur. First he arrived 25 minutes late. He then drove extremely fast down the windy Squamish highway risking the lives of all of the women in our family. Our repeated requests to stop for a pee break were completely ignored. On the way home, he again drove so fast around the corners that my pregnant daughter had to throw up in a shopping bag as he refused to pull over or slow down!! When I spoke to Peter, the owner, he barely listened, likely because of my gender! The company gave no compensation apart from the offer of a 20% discount on our next ride. I assured him that there would never be a next ride. read more

If only there were zero stars available... absolutely terrible service... late, rude, unsafe, could not even complete their job! The absolute worst experience read more

Doesn't even deserve one star, but not an option. Rude, rude, rude. Horrible people. Made us pay in cash up front, then never picked us up at the end of the night. Total scam. Swore at my friend who organized the limo when trying to find out what went wrong. Do not use this service. Ever. read more

We booked a ride to and from the airport. The pick up was in a very old limo that smelled, had air issues and was uncomfortably fogged up. The ride back to the airport was an even older SUV limo with cracked, dirty mirrors. The final cost provided had no breakdown and was much higher than the quoted amount over the phone. This was our experience. read more

I wish we had read Kat H. review prior to booking with Black Tie Limousine which would have saved us a night of grief !!!! Hired them to pick us up at a local hotel for a short ride to a restaurant in Abbotsford for a company Christmas party. WHAT A MISTAKE !!! I am certain we would have had a better experience riding in a rickshaw in minus 4 weather. We jump in the limo and the first thing I notice are the leather seats are all cracked and look like they were previously used on an old horse drawn carriage that was exposed to the weather for 20 years prior to being installed in this vehicle. I then noticed that the inside was cold and the inside of the windows were fogged up and dripping with water as though the the driver had just pulled the vehicle out of an old barn, started it up and did nothing to prepare the vehicle for the comfort of his customers. The driver seemed irritated as one of the couples in our group were 5 minutes late getting into the vehicle. Once we were in he attempted to close the back door and the door would not close as the latch was not catching. We needed to get to our function so I held the door closed as we jumped on the freeway. After dropping us off the driver was to pick up another two couples. He took so long going back to his shop to fix the door that these other couples decided to drive themselves which defeated the whole purpose of hiring the limo and was a major inconvenience. At the end of the evening the driver called my Cell and once again sounded irritated that we were not outside ready and waiting for him. He was to take the first group and come back for our group. He was extremely rude to the first group saying he was not going back for the last group. I have to say we were 15 to 30 minutes later than what we had booked for but I thought with the poor service, rude driver and a vehicle that was so obviously mediocre, that they would have tried to make up for all these shortfalls. I was wrong. The driver couldn't care less. We ended up taking 3 cabs back to the hotel (which were infact classier than the limo) and we will never again use Black Tie Limousine. Wouldn't surprise me based on our experience and the experience of Kat H. on this same site that they would actually be in business this time next year. I have rated them 1 star only because it is close to Christmas and I am feeling generous. read more

You get what you pay for. Limo unclean, had no idea where we were going, huge language barrier and wouldn't provide us with a receipt. Won't use their services again. Ever. read more

Super professional staff. Our group of friends were extremely rowdy, and the limo driver was very patient with us and showed us a great time! The driver was also very punctual when picking you up. The pricing is also very fair for the service you get. I would definitely use this service again and recommend it to others. read more

The service from the driver was fine, the phone call I just received (2 days later) was disgraceful. The most unprofessional conversation I have ever had with a company! we asked the driver to make one extra drop off(5 min away) and offered $20 cash to which he agreed. The phone call I just received was to tell me I am being charged an additional $40 for the extra stop even though I confirmed we paid cash he continued to say no that was an extra tip (even though tax & tip was included) shouting & laughing down the phone telling me I am cheap and not to book with them if I cant afford it. WOW!! shocking You received $240 and now want to charge an additional $40.... who exactly is the cheap one? are you that hard up for cash you have to con people out of their money? your business may do a lot better if you spent a little of that "extra cash" you get on training in customer service and business management! read more
