I cannot say enough good things about my week with Heather and Donny at their Wellness retreat. They welcomed us into their beautiful home and little slice of paradise and treated the group like family. I didn't want to leave! I'm going to break up my review into important pieces to consider: 1. The food. Heather and others spent many many hours preparing healthy, delicious meals that were so nourishing and filling. I could taste the love, effort, and experience in every meal. Many of the ingredients were either grown locally or even right there on the property. 10/10. 2. The workshops. They gave us a little bit of everything- yoga, aerial yoga, meditation, energy healing, life coaching, manifesting, and others. It is a well rounded week of caring for yourself and being cared for. 10/10. 3. Accommodations. I stayed in a small cabin out front of the main house. There was a lotus pond out front (no mosquitos) and it was so cozy. The bed was insanely comfortable. There is a short walk to the main house to get to the restroom but that wasn't an issue in the slightest. Also the shower is outdoors, but honestly it adds to the charm and nature focus of the whole thing. They have a spa and pool on site that are so nice, our group used it quite a bit to bond and relax together between classes. 10/10 4. Vibes. This couple brings a full jug of love and dumps it into this place. I could feel it with every moment. You can tell they love what they do, they love their home, they love life, and they love the folks that come through. Be prepared to accept the many gifts they have to offer and open your heart to it. This little slice of paradise is so full of acceptance and peace. They give you the space you need to heal, the open arms for hugs, and tissues for when you put in the work to really process through the icky stuff we all hold inside. If you need a little extra support like I did, you will get it here. I made forever friends with the other gals who attended, too, and that lasting sisterhood is truly everything! 10/10 I found them here on yelp, booked direct from their website, and will likely book again in the future through their website as well. Great Ariel yoga retreat! I wasn't expecting it to be so easy. Not that it was totally easy peezy but it was gradual and she made me do things I didn't think I could do. She's a great instructor and sound healer and her husband is a fabulous musician and teacher too. They really balance each other. The food was delicious also!! read more

Have been to the Black Swan three times now, beginning before the pandemic, and am looking forward to a return trip. Each time, I arrive in pain and leave restored, and feeling healthy. I've brought friends and family who loved it, too! I am convinced that the healing meditations during the aerial yoga helped me heal injuries and gave me tools to manage my chronic cancer. The food is delicious and nutritious, plant-based and plentiful. Heather and Donny are genuinely good souls who share their much-needed gifts of healing, music and philosophy with the world. We just returned from our incredible retreat~ it was such a magical, amazing experience! So needed after 2 stressful pandemic years. I felt such an emotional release of stress in the body and mind. The food was incredible with large healthy, delicious spreads for breakfast and lunch. The hosts, Donnie and Heather were so accommodating with every request. The grounds and rooms were very lovely and comfortable! The amenities available were also plentiful and abundant- with infra-red sauna, hot tub, etc. Also Heather made the aerial yoga completely accessible to newbies! One thing that also makes this retreat so over the top is they Heather and Donnie are both certified in multiple healing modalities and I enjoyed 1:1 sessions with each of them as well as the group aerial and mat based yoga.
