My BMW X5 overheated and I got a tow from Willie. He was at my car within 15 minutes which was nice because it was 90 degrees out. Willie was so sweet and had my car up on the truck in five minutes. Sent me follow up pics when he dropped it off at my mechanic. Great guy! read more

Commissioned a tow and then never showed, called, and left me on the road. Had to recommission another tow company and STILL never heard back. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION read more

Absolutely terrible service. We requested a tow through our insurance app at 5:20 PM and were told the driver would arrive between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Before 8:00 PM, we called to check the status and were told they were on their way. Later, we were told again that they would arrive within 20 minutes. We waited almost 5 hours, and no one ever showed up. The communication was unprofessional and frustrating. Every time we contacted them, the responses seemed to come from different phone numbers, making it difficult to know who we were speaking with. To make matters worse, one of their representatives hung up on us. Even though the service was never provided, we were charged more than $200. When we requested a refund, they refused to take responsibility and told us to contact our insurance company for reimbursement. This company wasted our entire evening, provided no service, charged us anyway, and showed no accountability. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Black Sheep Tow Company to anyone. read more

This company towed my car from a neighborhood with an approved parking permit and then brought it back in the middle of the night because they recognized their error. This company is very shady and should lose any and all business licenses. And I only give them a one star because less than 1 is not an option. read more

If I could rate this company a zero star I would. Do not let your insurance or roadside assistance company dispatch this company to you. Was misled multiple times on an ETA for a tow while stuck on the side of a busy highway for over 3 hours. If it were not for FDOT, I would still be there. Never trust a business that doesn't have a voicemail set up either. Makes it very easy for them to ignore follow up calls. read more

The guy that came to my house came with a regular pickup truck with a flat bed trailer. He came into my garage and knocked on my garage door instead of coming to my front door to announce his presence. Then when I questioned him about it, he was rude and sarcastic with me. What a horrible attitude, I would NEVER give my business to this type of business that condones this behavior. read more

Black Sheep Towing - The truck that came to tow my vehicle - Towing Near Me - Mulberry, Florida

If I could give zero stars, I would. I waited over 2.5 hours for roadside assistance with no meaningful updates and no response to my requests for an updated ETA, despite being given an estimate that was already 30 minutes past due. After getting no response, I ended up changing the tire myself--with no prior experience. As I was finishing, I received a call asking if I still needed assistance. When I explained I had already handled it, the representative hung up mid-sentence. Being left waiting for hours is frustrating enough, but being treated this way after resolving the issue on my own is incredibly unprofessional. I would strongly recommend choosing a different company. read more

Had Jesse come out to tow my SUV. He was very professional, and showed up very quick. Highly recommended.

The young lady in the office is very nice. However, this company has a extremely racist driver. I will I had gotten his name. He's a big tall white man who looks like he's 24 months pregnant, lol. When I went to the yard to pick up my car. When I called the lot, the racist a-hole said my car was not there. I called 911 to find out that my car was at the tow lot. He was only person at the yard. When I went to the gate to ask if I was at the right place. The racist a-hole didn't even acknowledge that I was talking. When the young lady in the office arrived, I told her about the driver and told her that he was a racist sob. He was in the office and was complaining about someone had complained about their car being damaged. Based on his racist behavior, he probably did damage someone's car. I normally don't write negative reviews, but I felt people need to be put on alert and make sure this racist sob doesn't damage their property. Karen from Georgia read more

I have tried to use them on 2 separate occasions a year apart, and they did not show up. They also would not answer our calls back.

Well apparently the driver is in such a hurry he runs the red light at 92 and Old Dixie highway to make a u-turn to turn into the circle k and almost caused the big accident you call the company phone number they say oh this is not Black sheep towing right now so obviously the drivers can drive however they want have also been known to take people's car and charge them double the price that's so sad to see that they almost took someone's life this morning and there's no one in the office to answer the phone just because they want to run a red light to get to the circle k what could be so important God bless y'all read more

I am only giving one Star because that is the lowest I can go. These Bastards towed a 73 yr old womans car tht was at moffit getting cancer treatment because her car set for 2 days. And when the owner RANDY was told the situation he still made her pay almost $400 to get her car back in Easter. I never thought it was heartless people like this in the world. I hope his business fails miserably he definitely deserves anything that he gets read more

I would not recommend using this company under any circumstance. My wife's car shut off on her at her doctor's appointment and this company was the original sent by her insurance. We made the request around 10:30am. Thankfully I was able to get off work early and have my pregnant wife wait in the car with me, otherwise she would have been stranded in the doctor's office parking lot for close to 4 hours. During our wait Black Sheep increased the ETA several times. I understand being busy, but both my wife and the insurance company tried to contact them and both went to voice mail. The lack of communication and professionalism can not be understated. Thankfully Dizzy Dave's towing saved the day and got there at 4pm. We managed to get her vehicle to the dealership. I can't recommend Dizzy Dave's enough if you do need a tow. read more

I have tried to use Black Sheep Towing twice now. The first time I waited over 3 hours for a tow truck to tow my Mercedes CKL that lost its transmission. After many calls. They finally sent someone. Then when I tried to have my the car towed from the shop to my home. The Towing service I use. Again got Black Sheep Towing. After a hour of waiting. The Towing service call them and was told they would have someone out in 25 minutes. And me trying to call with only going to voicemail and no call back. Black Sheep Towing is unreliable on dependable and a waste of your time. My advice is that if your towing service recommends Black Sheep Towing. Tell them that you don't want them that you would rather have another towing service I highly recommend Alfredo's Towing in Plant City. They are reliable and dependable and they're in a reasonable time the longest I've waited was 30 minutes for them to come tow my vehicles. read more

Horrible service please do not use this business, they will give u a time frame and if another call come for them with more money you will be for ever waiting, they don't even call you to let you know their not coming, I lost 2 1/2 hours of time waiting on them, I canceled and went with another service provider. read more

I told him just to pay for the materials and I would do the labor and put it in Which I thought was more than fair and now they're playing games like they can't get a hold of anybody and nobody can make a decision highly do not repeat. Black Sheep Towing Lakeland Florida is a ripoff, they do practice predatory towing. My vehicle was towed less than two miles from site. I called them and no one showed up to release the vehicle more than an hour after, the car was in the lot no more than 35 minutes from the time the call was placed . and i had to pay $707 to get the vehicle out. No credit card was allowed for payment , they only took cash app/ zelle, which I believe is against the law since May 2024, they did not even ask for proof of vehicle ownership and there is a scratch and grease all over the vehicle. Highly do not recommend and this is lakeland Florida Payment methods Towing companies must accept cash, credit/debit cards, or checks from a Florida bank with the owner's name and address. read more

Black Sheep Towing in Lakeland/ Mulberry Fl. This is the worst company. They are illegally charging a lien release fee of 250.00. fyi that fee can not be charged until your vehicle has been in there lot for 3 days and certified mail sent. they also have to give you an itemized bill. i contacted the sheriff dept. and Detective Dragon at the sheriffs office decided it was to broad and they didn't want to charge the driver. I have made a BBB complaint which came back to me saying they are no longer in business, which is also a lie. they are contracted to tow for the HOA in my neighborhood. type there name in Facebook and do your research. I requested a tow at 0630am and was told it would be 90-120 mins. At 0750am, after being told that their ETA was 0804am, I was called by Jose Borges who stated that he has a flat bed truck and would not be able to assist me unless he checked with his dispatch, due to their policy of not going inside parking garages. When I requested the tow, I put that I was in a parking garage and that there was low clearance. I waited for Jose to call me back and he never did. When I attempted to call him back, every phone call stated that my call could not be completed as dialed, so I knew that he had blocked me at that point. I then called the towing company at 0830, after two hours of waiting, and Caitlyn stated that all of the requests are automatically accepted, even if they don't have the capabilities of doing what you've requested. If I had no called, I wouldn't have known that they weren't coming to help me. Don't waste your time with this company. Just get AAA and make sure they don't refer out to these guys. read more
