So happy to see another coffee shop in Aubrey! I had to try this spot, and I'm so glad I did--I feel like I found my new pit-stop coffee shop. One tip: read everything on the menu, especially the part that says "Double the caffeine." I ordered a Spanish latte and didn't notice the "Robusta Revival" had double the caffeine (clearly I needed coffee before reading the menu ). I was jittery all day, but honestly, it was worth it--the flavor was fantastic. I also ordered an açaí bowl, and it was so frozen it felt like eating a scoop of ice cream. I couldn't even cut through it with the plastic spoon. My husband ordered the iced honey cardamom oat latte with an extra shot of espresso, and he ended up with the jitters too. We also shared the turkey provolone pesto sandwich, which was good. I'd definitely come back, but next time I'll try the Blue Volcano roast--or decaf--since my body clearly can't handle the double caffeine. read more

There is a new coffee shop in town and I have been so excited to try it out. Black sheep has a drive thru which is super convenient when trying to get to work off of 380. My daughtercand I ordered out coffee inside which tou do at a kiosk, they have quite a few of them. I did not have one interaction with staff though, I guess thats the downside with not ordering with a human. I got the cold brew with pistashio syrup and pistashio cold foam. I should have skipped the syrup because it was sooooo sweet that I couldn't enjoy it like I wanted to. Next time I'll just do the cold foam. My daughter got the Biscoff frappe and she offered it without coffee so the flavor was similar to a sweet milk, which she didn't like. It was pretty expensive too! I think I spent around $15 for those two drinks. Overall I think the coffee shop is cute, and im happy its there! I just dont think we ordered the right things. Our next visit will for sure be more enjoyable. read more

Decided to come try it out since I saw the open sign as I was driving by earlier this week. The Black Sheep Coffee sign is huge so you cannot miss it. Drive-thru is located in the back of the store. I ordered a strawberries & cream matcha and hubby you a smoothie. At the window, server was friendly. My matcha was a bit sweet (but I normally order my drinks half sweet but forgot to ask for that) but it's probably perfect for others. Nice strawberry flavor. Hubby said he enjoyed his smoothie. Overall, good. I'll just remember to ask for half sweet on my next drink. read more

Staff is always so welcoming and the place is clean. It's perfect for people who work remotely or need someplace to sit and read. I've had both the turkey sandwich and acai bowl and both are great. I just think the company itself needs to improve their drink recipes because I've only really liked 1/4 of the drinks I've ordered from them. read more

The eye catching business sign drew us in and the STRONG coffee will draw us back. Hubby and I ordered Robusta Revival Cappuccinos. I added caramel and mocha to mine. The menu noted their Robusta Revival espresso beans have double the caffeine - and boy did it pack a punch!!! About 30 mins after I finished mine I felt like I was ready for anything (so pumped up). Pretty solid for a coffee shop- only thing is the price is a tad HIGH- ie my go to is at Starbucks for venti iced coffee with vanilla and soy, Starbucks 6.10 and medium sized here is 7.35... so a bit steep for frisco and little elm prices. I like the vibe of the inside cafe, very spacious and nice table seating area. Well staffed for a Sunday afternoon, 4 people and this has a drive through. Pretty cool they serve Red Bulls and Coke products, in addition to their full menu. read more
