He is a highly skilled surgeon who has performed countless successful cataract surgeries. My vision was 20/30 the day after surgery! My neighbor had cataract surgery at an "eye center" out of the area that resulted in complications that went on for months. Again, I would recommend Dr. Edward Balok who is personable and adept if you are in need of cataract surgery.

The staff are also very kind and professional. If you're looking for a local eye doctor this is your place!

I hadn't had my vision prescription renewed in a year or so, and wanted an updated prescription, so my visit was very basic. However, I felt that given that an established relationship with an ophthalmologist would be beneficial for the future as well as get my prescription updated, I was referred to Dr. Johnson by my in-laws, and was happy with the decision. Even though I got my pupils dilated, the whole procedure with vision went very smoothly. I was in and out of there within 1 hour, with my new updated prescription in tow. My only qualm about this place is that they don't have services for fitting eyeglasses or contact lenses. You have to go somewhere else to get those done. That's a very minor thing though, but can be an inconvenience if you want a one-stop shop. Overall, happy to have found this place. Super clean, professional, efficient group. I'll be coming back here for all my eye/vision needs!
