I hadn't had my vision prescription renewed in a year or so, and wanted an updated prescription, so my visit was very basic. However, I felt that given that an established relationship with an ophthalmologist would be beneficial for the future as well as get my prescription updated, I was referred to Dr. Johnson by my in-laws, and was happy with the decision. Even though I got my pupils dilated, the whole procedure with vision went very smoothly. I was in and out of there within 1 hour, with my new updated prescription in tow. My only qualm about this place is that they don't have services for fitting eyeglasses or contact lenses. You have to go somewhere else to get those done. That's a very minor thing though, but can be an inconvenience if you want a one-stop shop. Overall, happy to have found this place. Super clean, professional, efficient group. I'll be coming back here for all my eye/vision needs!

When I found out I owed them money I took time off work to get over there and pay them, that was several months ago and they never said anything about being discharged from service. Today I called and the receptionist told me they no longer want my business... imagine my surprise, when I tried to explain what happened the receptionist would not let me finish, she kept interrupting me and then hung up on me.... Keep in mind that when I found out I owed them money I took time off work to go there and pay them and at that time no one mentioned that I was no longer wanted as a customer.. I guess I need to find a doctor who cares about their patients

I had PRK and crosslinking in both eyes. Before laser vision correction, I couldn't operate without…read moremy eye glasses. Contacts were not an option anymore because of my dry eyes. When I came to Sarnia Eye, Esthetics and Lasik Clinic, Dr. Patodia was very clear in explaining the difference between PRK and Lasik. He described the advantages and disadvantages for me specifically and we decided on PRK. Having the surgery done locally was so convenient not only for the day of, but for the follow-up appointments after. Dr. Patodio checked my eyes every day after the surgery for 4 days in a row - he even opened the door for me on Sunday even though the Clinic is closed. He was flexible and agreed to check my eyes after the Sunday worship service. During the procedure I was given a stress ball to squeeze. Dr. Patodia and his two assistants were very encouraging by providing helpful countdowns during the laser work. Because of my dry eyes, the doctor placed complimentary temporary plugs in my ducts a week after surgery to help maintain lubricated eyes which was necessary for healing. Everyone is becoming a familiar face now with all my follow-up appointments. After surgery, the convenience of not having to wear glasses was noticed right away when I was able to slip my sunglasses on without having eye glasses underneath! I can see in the shower, I can see when I wake up, and the rain on my glasses doesn't bother me anymore. What a treat! I would recommend Dr. Patodia and Sarnia Eye, Esthetics and Lasik Clinic to anyone!"
