We walked in and were greeted by two ladies at a reception desk. This place gives more art gallery than tattoo parlor. Gone are the cheesy heats with daggers and mom tattoos, on the walls, replaced with original paintings. We knew what we both wanted, the two ladies were really helpful. They were full this particular day but they were able to scheduled appointments for us at 11:30, the next day. $50 deposit, industry standard, was required to book the appointment. They do give you an estimate of time price for each tattoo.
Saturday morning we show up, I meet with the tattoo artist, Giorgia. I just wanted a simple green, grape leaf tattoo. I had a picture of the leaf. She goes in back, to work on the piece. We talk about maybe doing more of a fall color for the leaf, From green to yellow and green edges of the leaf to a reddish tinge. The Giorgia asked to use color for the stem instead of black ink. I agree, she's the artist in the canvas.
We start and this is my 11th tattoo, I've never seen anyone work like this. It was more like a painting than a tattoo. She layered color and shaded colors. Then end result is stunning. I couldn't be more happy. So glad we came here.
