My brother and i got cute sibling tattoos as a gift for his birthday. The lobby is clean and tidy along with a place to sit down and take in the A/C while you enjoy looking into the books of Shenskees' work and the many works posted on their walls. Before proceeding with the tattoos, you'll need to fill out an electronic consent form. The process only took less than 5 minutes to do too so i like how efficient it went! Our tattoo artists, Shen and Brad were great and they were very professional, transparent, and communicative from what our tattoos would like in different sizes, and they gave recommendations on the patterns of the tattoos. My brother and i did our tattoos at the same time and it didn't take long. I'd say we sat about an hour-ish. And WE LOVE IT!!! They take cash and/or card. I paid in cash to avoid a $3-4 card fee. Everything went smooth and they gave us a print of an aftercare plan. Parking is limited in the compound but there's always street parking available too! And even with the tattoo taking over and hour the piece still came out great, and Mike was patient, he didn't rush thru my tattoo and I really appreciated that! But man, the second I walked into Eddie's shop, he made me feel at EASE. He smiled bright, and the rest was HISTORY! His personality, his vibe, and like I said, that aura of his is UNMATCHED. Now, onto this man's art.. the proof is in the pudding. I don't have the words to express how amazing his work is. The detail he takes, from the eyelashes, to the beauty marks (on a portrait of course) is unbelievable. He truly takes thee' most pride in his work, and that definitely goes to show. I already had thin hair due to medication, so this was not gonna get better. I did not want to take expensive supplements or apply topicals. Short of traveling to Turkey and getting transplants, scalp micropigmentation (SMP) was starting to look feasible. Yelp and Google shows me LOTS of places cater to men. Just so happens I was getting my hair colored at Hi Lites salon, lamenting about my scalp, when Abbie (who gives a fabulous shampoo BTW) told me about 1 Point, so I booked a consult with Kristine. Kristine is a LOOOOOOVE. She's hella good at her craft, and super patient. My sessions were stretched out a few hours at a time because I could not sit still, and life happens. When she's applying ink, know that different areas will trigger a range of sensations...tickle, pressure, pinprick. The process itself was super fast ! My brows were done in like 2-3 minutes and my shoulder was done in 5 ! Not gonna lie, it's very true when they say a tattoo removal hurts a lot more than the tattoo itself but Kristine made me so comfortable , it's worth it PLUS the pain is only bad for a couple minutes ! Attached is a pic she sent me of my brows before and immediately after . We yapped a lot so we didn't take pics of my shoulder before LOL ! I can't wait for my other sessions !

Just finished getting a full Polynesian tribal sleeve at Black Moon Collective, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. From the moment I walked in, everyone at the shop was welcoming, professional, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and easy. A huge shoutout to Nai for absolutely killing it on my sleeve. He did a stellar job bringing the design to life, and the attention to detail throughout the entire piece is incredible. You can tell there's a lot of pride and passion that goes into the work here. The whole process was efficient, clean, and professional, but the artwork is what really stood out to me. The talent at Black Moon Collective is second to none, especially when it comes to Polynesian work. If you're looking for a tattoo shop on Oʻahu, especially for Polynesian-inspired work, I highly recommend checking out Black Moon Collective.
