Robert and his team have worked for my ranch for 18 years and over 2000 horses. They are at the top if their game.

Wow - What an amazing experience!! I highly recommend Geary's school of equine massage therapy…read more Geary is a great teacher who makes learning fun and easy. I first watched a number of Geary's youtube videos and then his massage techniques on a few horses (my equine friends). I was impressed with the IMMEDIATE results. I got working on a large draft horse, named Fred who was in desperate need. This spark was my interest even more and I flew from NY to CA to take Geary's week-long course for certification in equine massage therapy. Geary has a very practical and straight forward way in tackling some rather complex topics such as equine nutrition, the muscular system (in both horse and rider) and the design of form and function. So much of what I learned can be applied to humans as well and I have applied Geary's techniques to my own hips and calve muscles with great results. This was a fascinating experience that all those involved with horses would benefit from. Geary has an incredibly fascinating approach to life, whole-hearted. He cares very much about helping people help horses and also to help themselves.

I decided to write a review regarding the horseback riding lessons at this wonderful stable and I…read moremust say, it has been an incredible experience for my daughter Delilah. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome and at ease. The instructor, Laura, was knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring that my daughter feels comfortable before getting on the horse. The horses themselves were well-trained and gentle, making it easy for a beginner like my daughter to learn the basics of riding. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a spacious arena for practicing different exercises and techniques. Throughout the lessons in these past 6 months we have see the improvement and how she is gaining confidence with each ride. Laura provides helpful feedback and guidance, pushing Delilah to challenge herself and try new things. Overall, I highly recommend taking horseback riding lessons at this stable. I read a recent review left by someone claiming that the staff here are not kind or welcoming to minorities. This has never been the case for us as we are Mexican. So that statement is far from being true. I highly recommend this place to all who are looking to start horseback riding. My daughter is 14 and looks forward to her classes with Laura and her favorite horse, Skylar. Thank you so much! Best, Delilah's parents

This is a great riding center. Trainer Laura is amazing and she is so great with the students. She is patient and really teaches. All the school horses are are great and very well taken care of.. They teach/train all levels, from beginners to advanced. My daughter's riding has improved so much since starting here and she loves it. The pricing is very reasonable and I think you get so much more vs other riding schools/centers we've been too. All the staff is attentive and courteous. The barn area is always clean and organized. There are quite a few riding schools in the area and we checked them out. I am so happy we landed here. We love FFF!

Not only has she come out of her shell, she has developed more confidence and self-esteem. She is learning how to ride a horse, how to care for a horse, how to properly saddle a horse. Brooke has learned responsibility and respect for animals. Mrs. Peck takes a serious approach to teaching her students about horse riding and care. She starts with the basics of how to care for horses like brushing and grooming them, cleaning the face, using the correct body terms and how to saddle and tack up a horse and ready for riding. She takes safety, very seriously her no nonsense approach teaches children not only to respect an animal that weighs over 1000 pounds. But to have compassion and love for horses. Do not come to Peck Farms expecting this to be a pony ride experience, it is not. She will teach your child how to be responsible. She will teach your child how to take ownership of riding a horse from start to finish. She teaches with love and kindness and compassion, but she also wants to make sure that your child understands directions thoroughly and that they do not get hurt or hurt her horses. I've sat in on my daughter's lesson I have watched and listened, and I appreciate the respect she gives my daughter as well as the kindness and compassion. She shows her. For anyone that says differently about Mrs. Peck. I invite you to come down and actually watch a lesson.Aa few reviews I've read do not match my experience or my daughter's. If you want your child to develop a love of riding horses both western or English saddle. I suggest you book a lesson with Mrs. Peck and come down and watch and see for yourself. I think you'll be very happy with the progress your child will make. I know I'm extremely happy with my daughter's progress. She loves riding.

As someone who has been around horses for a while and has experienced various riding schools, I can confidently say that my time there was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the facility itself is quite run down. The stalls are not in the best condition, and the overall environment lacks the cleanliness and upkeep one would expect from a stable. This was disheartening, especially considering the importance of a safe and well-maintained space for both riders and horses. When it came to the lessons, I found the timing to be consistently off. The sessions rarely started on time, which led to a lack of organization and made it hard to establish a routine. It often felt like I was left waiting around rather than getting the focused instruction I had hoped for. Speaking of instruction, while I appreciate enthusiasm, the owner talks far too much during lessons. I was eager to learn and get on the horse, but instead, I found myself listening to long monologues rather than engaging in practical exercises. As a result, I felt that valuable time was wasted, and my riding skills did not progress as I had hoped. As a result, I felt that valuable time was wasted, and my riding skills did not progress as I had hoped. In terms of cost, Pecks not offering value for money. The lessons are quite expensive considering the quality of instruction and facility. There are certainly better options in the area that provide a far superior experience for a similar or even lower price. Additionally, I had a troubling experience with the owner, who was consistently late for our scheduled sessions. This lack of professionalism was not only frustrating but also set a negative tone for my overall experience. Moreover, I noticed other negative reviews echoing similar complaints about tardiness and lack of reliability, but I hoped that things would be different for me. Unfortunately, they were not. Listening to a male instructor talk about how much he hated Trump and politics was so negative. I was here to have fun. I am just a young person who would like to have a good positive experience outside of my life of schooling. Lastly, I felt misled at times. The owner often made promises regarding the quality of the lessons and the state of the facility that did not hold up during my visits. This inconsistency was disheartening and left me feeling as though I could not trust the information provided. In summary, I cannot recommend Pecks based on my experience. There are many other stables that prioritize both quality instruction and a well-maintained environment, and I urge anyone considering lessons to explore those options instead. Lessons should be a joyful and enriching experience, but my time at Pecks was, unfortunately, anything but that. Owner posted a comment that I came during her husband's death. That is not true he died long before my visits. Sadly she has to use his death as an excuse.

Bethany ( her trainer) has been so patient and inspiring for my daughter to work with. The ranch itself is such a wonderful peaceful place that i know when it comes time for my daughter to own a horse we will be boarding it at LionHeart. First, let me say that Lauren is a great barn manager, cheerful and helpful. She even became my…read moredressage instructor when my regular trainer left. The place is kept very clean and the guys that work there are very kind. My complaint with the place is the fact that many of the horses are ill-tempered - making walking down the aisle in the paddocks extremely dangerous. The cobblestones are very hazardous when wet and the prices are a bit on the extreme side for your average horse-crazy aficionado. The plus is that they have a large covered arena and round pen. The turn out areas are well groomed and their parking lot is capacious. My hope would be to encourage the management to insist on ground work with the aggressive boarders. Also, the one clinic I attended that Lionheart sponsored was a total waste of time and money given the fact that I was only leasing the horse at the time. Lastly, my hubby and I attended their Halloween celebration and weren't told in advance about the price for lunch/parking. One of the barn dogs got into a fight with one of the guests that brought their pugilistic canine and I had to separate them before it got ugly - because no one else was intervening! So...there it is...the good, bad and ugly of my experience at Lionheart.
