Recently open in Bel Air Md, this was my second time here…read more Located in the festival center, strip mall across parking lot from Kohls Friday 1p: $60/hr. CONCEPT: indoor. Bay. Plays like "bowling". Choose course or driving range. Swing into a screen. Take turns. Some putting If it's two of you, and you know how to work the machines, and you play ready w club in hand, you can maybe get 18in, in a little over 2hrs. But, just like the real thing, that's dependent on how well you play. No "walking/riding" from hole to hole, some "gimme" putts, and a triple bogey limit (some times bogey limit), reduces the usual 3.5- 4hr18 hole round. But if you are also just having fun and chatting and eating and drinking and get stuck on how to work the machine, time can fly by. 3 of us did only 5 holes in 1hr 15min, then just two of us finished the last 13holes in the final 45minutes, but admittedly rushed the last two holes. So $60(ea) for a round of golf INSIDE out of the elements isn't too bad. But can get pricey when you add in food and beer You will likely NOT get 18 in with 3 (avg or below players) in two hours Budget for each person paying for an hour, and an hour per person if you want to complete a full round (And you don't spend too much time pondering too long on what you did right/wrong or looking at your stats) Or...stick to nine holes and just have fun. My first time there were 6 of us, took 3hrs to do 9 holes but we had SOOOO much fun! Drinking and laughin and trying to stay out of the water! (Or trying to hit IN the water...I forget...we were drinking) Pros: plenty of parking. Bays are really cool: lots of virtual legit courses to choose from. And stats displayed to track your game Staff has been awesome, both times. Plenty of TVs Neutral: same sex bathrooms. Suggestion: like tee times on a course, they should give 5-10 minutes between each "hour booked" to cycle to the next group. If a group books 1-2p and takes their last swing at 2p, and there's a 2-3p booking right behind them, the second group will NOT start at 2p, and will get short changed by at least 5min to let the first group pack up and get out the way. Plus getting settled, learning how to run the machine, and entering your info...the 2nd group MIGHT get 45min playtime, of the 60min booked Not sure if the bays are on a timer like they do at 2nd Swing, but that would aid in "kicking people off". I was cognizant of the people behind us needing to start on time, BUT that also made me feel rushed. The staff made sure we knew when we were at 30/20/15min out and I made sure we ended at the very last minute. CONS: the food was not good Not necessarily the staff/cooks fault. It's just basic"bagged frozen cheap appetizers dropped in a deep fryer and served as-is". No seasoning, basic dip, and not appetizing at all ADVISE you eat before you get there $12/appetizers that are not good gets pricey. And there is nothing healthy on the current menu Overall I thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. Definitely will return, and bring friends!

While it was small and all new equipment, the staff was very friendly, acknowledged my presence, asked if I needed help with anything, and spoke to me about my hitting. It's $5 per person and includes a club and golf ball. The holes are simple but still fun with a group. The staff inside were friendly. The indoor videos and swingTRU study give me a great insight into my dynamic swing with real numbers in degrees to work on, such as shoulder tilt and turn. The coaches take time to focus on your individual swing, not just "keep your head down" you hear around driving ranges. They really care if you succeed. They also have a partnership at a great local country club for outdoor playing lessons and course management. These lessons resulted in me shooting my first under-par 9 holes, and winning my yearly buddies trip. If you're serious about improving your whole game, check these guys out. They're the real deal.

I even had second thoughts about the fitting and they allowed me to come back in and try a few things again. Ultimately ended up going back and seeing the same results, before ordering my clubs. When my clubs came they delivered them to me. You can tell this is a place that values the customer as the customer service was awesome. I had seen the store front before and was curious. When I went in I met Kim Carl the owner. She showed me around and talked about the services they provide. I signed up for golf lessons to give it a try. Fast forward to the end of April 2026, the difference in my golf game and knowledge is like night and day. Coach Kim did an outstanding job helping me gain the balance and technique needed to up my game. The feedback the golf simulators gave was essential in my improvement. The use of the swing data went far in showing me what needed to change. I have since joined as a member, spend several hours a week on the simulators, and continue to improve. The proof is when I am on a course and hit them long and straight where before I spent most of my time looking in the bushes for my ball. Coach Kim and her staff's expertise are top notch. They are always there to offer a tip or answer a question. I couldn't be happier. Plus it's tons of fun.

She showed us all around the beautiful venue, which includes floor to ceiling glass windows encasing three of the four walls in the newly renovated reception hall and overlooking the well-manicured and maintained golf course and pond, a gorgeous wood bar area, updated carpeting and beautiful chandeliers, tasteful décor, a rather large wedding party room (for the wedding party to get dressed, eat, drink, and de-stress inside throughout the day), beautiful bathrooms, and of course, a huge tent and balcony overlooking the golf course, under which we got married on June 29, 2018. As if that wasn't enough to make us fall in love with the venue (it was), Anna walked us through all they were willing to offer, including discounts for a Friday wedding, all linens - and they have a huge array of color choices - silverware, tableware, and glassware, and they also provided us with many options for our dinner and cocktail spread. We loved having so many choices, and the fact that the pricing was extremely affordable gave us the ability to add more, such as an open bar for guests. Our tasting was amazing; everything was delectable, and Hunt Valley Country Club even took care of the cake and centerpieces for us! Seriously, Hunt Valley Country Club is an amazing, classy, elegant establishment, and the perfect venue. It is a one-stop shop, and the only vendors I needed to go outside for were the DJ, photographer, florist, and photobooth. And on top of all this, Hunt Valley Country Club also included a day-of-coordinator, Emily, as part of our contract. Emily was fantastic! She and Anna sat down with us and went through a huge checklist so they knew exactly what was needed and what we expected a month ahead of time (plus, they kept in constant email contact with use throughout our engagement--from August to June). Emily also put together the floor plan, double checked all linen colors and floor spacing, determined our timeline, ran us through our rehearsal, verified all our planned decorations, and had us bring all our decorations up two days in advance. Emily and her team then decorated the entire venue for us - making the decoration aspect of the wedding completely stress free for me (and then they packed it all back up for us and had our decorations waiting for my family to pick up the next day)! I was so impressed! Emily even pinned all the boutonnieres and corsages on our wedding party! To be honest, Emily, Anna, and their team are the reason my wedding day was perfect! There wasn't one issue nor one thing I would change; I've heard from many brides that their day didn't go exactly as planned, but mine went exactly as I envisioned, and I 100% owe that to Emily and Anna. They were superb and fantastic, and I highly recommend them and the Hunt Valley Country Club! Do yourself a favor and contact Anna to see the venue. You won't be disappointed!
