Working with Ardent prior to the wedding was seamless. They provided us with our initial Wedding…read moreDay Timeline to build from. They were very responsive and very easy going when it came to any change in plans . They provided valuable input when asked and were accommodating to the schedules of our other vendors. On the day of the wedding, nothing felt posed, nothing felt forced, and they captured every natural laugh, tear, smile, and special moment throughout the day organically. They were such a fun couple with a great sense of humor and a pleasure to be around - which made smiling and laughing come naturally. It wasn't until after the wedding day rush, we realized JUST HOW RELIANT we would become on our photos. The day flew by and, for the next couple weeks, we replayed it over and over in our heads. It wasn't until we got our photos back, which turned out more beautiful than we expected or even remembered, that we realized all the small details we missed throughout the day - but of course, Ardent captured! :) While our wedding memories are fresh in our heads now, we know the details will blur after time. This alone makes us SO grateful for Rick & Stephanie and the time, effort, and passion they put into their artwork! You two are an amazingly talented team, brilliant at what you do, and because of you we'll be able to relive our special day for many years to come! Ardent was, by far, the best investment we made on our wedding day!

I am in awe of how amazing my experiences have been with Rick and Stephanie. There are almost too…read moremany reasons why I love them. 1) They are the most friendly and down to earth people. I got along with them so well and Rick and my fiance/husband hit it off so quickly -- making the picture-taking process much less cumbersome for my fiance/husband to navigate. 2) Flexible -- these two were so easy going and ran with the punches. We had a hiccup with our scheduled engagement shoot time and they were easy to switch their appts to accommodate. Our wedding was not your typical day and with all the madness and running around, Rick and Stephanie stayed collected and still turned out a beautiful product. 3) Style - I love the moments these two capture. They took time to understand our personalities and knew exactly when to snap a photo that would capture our true selves. 4) Price - although photography is pricey, I appreciate the amount of edited photos Ardent makes available to you. You aren't required to purchase individual photos from them and they send a personalized USB as a backup to the online album you have access to. Rick is funny and willing to roll around in the dirt for the perfect shot, while Stephanie is an amazing planner and a calm ear to listen to your thoughts and ideas. I've gone to this team twice for shoots and will continue to use them and make special trips back to Wyoming to make it happen.

If I could give these guys a negative amount of stars I would…read more I got married a year ago this month and I still have nightmares about how they handled the event. First of all, their food was just OK but their service and attitude was horrific. Months before the wedding we had agreed on family style tapas and I was giving them alot of freedom...this is all I wanted. We signed a contract but they lost it along with my deposit check so it didn't really matter. Two weeks before the wedding (when it was far too late to find a replacement caterer) they decided they would only do a buffet (which I did not want) and would not clean up afterwards unless I was all of a sudden willing to pay 3 times the agreed upon price. They were unwilling to work on a solution and it caused serious anxiety for me, my fiance and my entire family. So, we ended up with a lame buffet of basically appetizers and my mom, sister, grandma and aunts cleaned up while they should've been enjoying the reception. It was awful. Not to mention the fact that they cut the dessert before the toasts and first dance so people were helping themselves to it before the bride and groom could even have a chance... On top of it, they refused to move their car for my grandpa who was in a wheel chair. I honestly wasn't asking for much but they refused to do anything but their way. I can understand they have the right to this attitude and I had my choice of caterers but the frustrating part is they had agreed on something different months in advance and at the last second changed their minds and price. It was awful. I feel like crying every time I think of them. Their food is not even very good. Please don't waste your time or money.

They came out to our place, set up, brought all of the things we agreed upon, served the food, and even went above and beyond and cut and served our cake for us. I was a little worried when searching for them and saw only one very poor review from several years ago. I am so glad that we decided to use them despite one bad review, and wanted to make sure to submit our own review to let people know that not all dealings with them turn out that way! Every part of our experience with them was positive, and I would absolutely use them again!
