However, the service and the attention to the customer are severely wanting. My wife and I waited forty plus minutes for a simple grilled cheese sandwich and soup. It would've taken longer had I not gone into the kitchen to tell our waitress we were hungry. The waitresses, for some reason we had two, had to be prodded to refill our water and diet soda. Unfortunately, bread is not served before (or during) the meal. Sorry, but we cannot recommend this place as long as the staff continues trying our patience.

Sara and Sam just magically appeared like magical Genies at every step with drinks in hand, plates of food in front of us, and confirmation that it was good to move to the next steps along the way. They coordinated with our other vendors beautifully, and deservedly have an outstanding reputation with other vendors in the area such as DJs and caterers. Sara met with us in person and checked in over phone and email regularly, and was always responsive to questions. There was never ANY doubt about timing, pricing, or planning. Sara was accommodating with every request that we had and bent over backward to make our dream wedding happen (under budget!!). I would rate them ten stars if I could. They exceeded expectations at every turn.

If you have an event it's a great place to utilize. We are here weekly in the winter for skiing but I think what makes it special is the upstairs room with all of the flags of past olympians. It was a great background for my rehearsal dinner because it showed my guests a little steamboat history, had plenty of space, and has a kitchen prep area attached. Even years later my family and friends bring up this location.
