I have tried multiple times to give this place a chance and each and every time I am treated like I am asking them for something completely out of the realm of the possible. This is a contract post office location which is very convenient for area residents. I do not agree with other comments saying the staff is rude, especially after experiences at actual post offices several miles away. I find the services offered to be professional and efficient. read more

They are more interested in selling lottery tickets than doing post office business. Was trying to send a package and they were very helpful to the group of ladies buying lottery and when it came to be my turn, she wouldn't accept my package because I didn't have address on box. Wow!!!! RUDE....RUDE!!!! The owners' daughter, I believe her name is Jen is probably the rudest person I have ever encountered. I had a couple of packages to drop off which had pre-paid labels. Jen SHOUTHED (and yes, I mean SHOUTED) at me that I am not "allowed" drop off my packages and I NEED to go to the back of the line. She stated that since this location is a contract Post Office that it is a "violation" of their contract to let customers drop off pre-paid packages without a receipt. I was not given a document or shown anything to that claim. Other post offices allow pre-paid packages to be dropped off. I feel VERY sorry for the other people in the post office at the time that had to endure her inappropriate attitude, which included her co-worker. The co-worker had to tell her to be quiet. If this was any other post office (or place of business), she would probably be fired on the spot because of how she treats customers. If I could have rated this as a ZERO, then I would have. This is not the 1st time she has been rude and displayed an inappropriate attitude towards customers. read more

If there was a way to know that you have to have your own shipping label printed, and that they don't have a self service station PRIOR to arriving that would be great. I mean it is in Black Forest, the average commute in that area is 10-15 minutes. Because APPARENTLY the employees there are FORBIDDEN from using the printer that's collecting dust behind them. Idk if I was an employee there I would've notified the patron about them having to bring their own printing label, AND i would've just printed that label for that person just once to accommodate. Let alone the girl I talked to had a really mean attitude when I told her this. I think it's the same girl that all the other reviews mention. read more

Giving this location a 2 because the lady working Saturday 1/16/21 around 12:15 was hateful. She should definitely not be customer facing. Never said hello or made me feel welcome. I also had my 2 year old and 4 year old, and she hatefully yelled at my 2 year old "STOP KICKING" the booth. Well, first of all, you don't speak to people like that, much less a child. Also, HE WASN'T KICKING. He had on cowboy boots and was stomping around me. Sorry I didn't have my husband to watch the kids so I could do this. This is like the 3rd time I've had to pack a package and mail it. I had no idea what I was doing, plus having to juggle all of that with kids. And my kids are very well behaved. The other guy there, with the Korea sweatshirt was extremely nice and friendly. He was very patient with me and I appreciate that. read more

Most Horrible experience! I dropped off a phone to return to my ATT account and the employee I gave it to stole it as it disappeared and was never received by ATT at the return office and I am out an $800 iPhone 11 trade in and now paying full price for my phone as ATT thinks I am lying. Cannot trust this business so beware if you have anything of value to drop off! read more

This post office is 45 mins from where I live and unfortunately it's the one I belong to in Falcon. They never answer the phone for simple questions regarding my mail so I have to drive 45 mins just so they can say sorry we don't know where it is. Do better. read more

My first review was deleted because owners complained that it was untrue, but I have records and case number. I am giving a true and honest review. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had a been a regular customer at this place and kept going back because there was a lovely employee that worked there named Jessica who is no longer there. She was the sweetest, my kids loved her, and she just made for a pleasant experience. On the other hand there was a woman named Jen who worked there who was often rude, but the fact that I only go in for 5-10 min at a time her rudeness was tolerated. One specific day I went in. I usually try not to go in with my kids because Jen seems to really get agitated by kids and I don't like anyone speaking rudely or yelling at my kids for no reason. When I did bring my kids in and Jessica was there, she would tell my kids to grab a lollipop and she would pay for it for them, so my kids would love going in when the angry lady (their words) wasn't there. This specific day, Jessica wasn't in and as soon as we walked in we could hear Jen already yelling at a customer. It made us uneasy, but again I knew I would be in and out. She was slamming items and visibly disturbed. I Just wanted to ship my boxes and go on my way. I told my kids to stay near and not touch anything, but my son, being just 5 years old, of course went to pick out his lollipop. Jen gave my son a death stare and was about to yell at him, but before she could I said, "he's just grabbing a lollipop, don't yell at him." She stormed over to me with her finger in my face (I had packages in my hands, and my son was hanging on to me terrified, so completely defenseless) she started yelling at me waving her finger in my face, then PUSHED me! Then ran out the back door. I called the cops-had them file a report and pressed charges, but because I wasn't in physical pain nothing happened to her that day. (Again, I have a case number) everything was caught on video, but I found out that she is the owners daughter. I also reached out to USPS to report workplace violence for them to do an investigation, but because this place is contracted out, they said it wasn't within their jurisdiction, so they couldn't do anything either. This dragged on for months before it went to court, and because they claimed she has a "condition" and I wasn't in any physical pain, she pretty much got away with it and continues to boast about it. (I know because their former employee had reached out to me). She obviously shouldn't be allowed around customers, but because her parents own the place they get away with any and everything because they aren't held accountable for their terrible actions against others. Although this place is the closest post office to me I travel further to avoid being mistreated and physically confronted. No person should ever have to deal with any abuse in any sort of way at anytime especially in a business environment when we are just doing our normal daily tasks. Karma is real and I'm confident that eventually they will be their own demise if they continue to treat customers as they do. read more

Unfortunately most of the reviews are correct in their assessment of the staff that work here. I mailed a letter three weeks ago and the tracking says it never left that location. When I called to see if they would check around the desk for, Diana told me if I was so concerned I could come search but she wasn't going to bother. I love to support local but I will not give money to this business ever again. It's worth the drive into Falcon or Colorado Springs to not have to deal with stolen mail and terrible customer service. read more

This post office is bipolar!!!! There is one extremely friendly, lovely gal behind the desk and another that is RUDE and NASTY! After I calmed myself down from the first confrontation with Ms. Nasty, I figured, maybe she had a bad day...My daughter also had an issue with her, a few weeks later . Today, I politely asked if I could ask a quick question, she cut me off and yelled, "get in line!" I said, sorry I just have a question, her retort was ..."and I said, Get. in. Line!" Even the people in line gasped! A woman in the store followed me out the door and said "I am so sorry for how that woman treated you" and that she had been rude to her in the past. I send packages to my deployed daughter regularly, and this PO is a mile from me ! But I won't ever send anything from there again when she is behind the counter. read more

This place does not offer service in the echelon of Neiman Marcus & Hermès, but I don't expect it to. There are so many bad reviews, but I think their service is above par considering Colorado Springs service in general. I don't expect southern hospitality or living aloha mentality. I go here a lot. They greet me, haven't lost any of my packages, patiently offer assistance, and say have a nice day. I don't need more than that. Give this post office a chance. When you go to a post office you expect help because the lay person doesn't know the quirks of shipping. They are disgruntled to answer questions and make you feel belittled when asking for help. ZERO stars!! ABSOLUTELY avoid this place! There is a woman named JEN Swho has horrific customer service. Today we went in because it was the closest post office by my friends house and I needed to mail off some packages. Immediately upon entering my son saw a puzzle box and picked it up, I said no we didn't need and to put it back and proceeded to head toward the post office section about 5ft ahead. We reached the front and there were 2 women working, the first woman Jen immediately points and says other line even though she had nobody in front and clearly is upset about something. We get in the other line and she proceeds to come from around the desk, pick up the puzzle box and SLAM it down about a foot over. Then snatches lollipops out of the people behind me hands and grab the lollipop box in which the woman behind me says you don't need to do that, that's very rude are you kidding me. GET THIS Jen comes from behind the desk and gets in this woman's face and says you're rude and puts her hands on this woman and SHOVES HER against the wall and then walks out. We were told by the kind employee that the woman's name is Jen and has a mental disability and shouldn't be around people and to please not call the police as the woman behind me is already on the phone with them. This has been going on for a while as you see previous comments. 10/10 do not recommend! read more

Snippy attitude. I've only dealt with the main woman behind the counter, no experience with the man mentioned in other review. Gee. I thought it was just me :) Do I just smell bad? No matter how friendly and understanding I have been over 2- 3 years experience in their store, she won't make eye contact and acts like I'm there to rob the store. Me buying stamps or sending a registered letter is just a waste of her precious time. I much preferred the chicken man who previously held the contract. He was also a bit rude, but in a down home funny way. Plus I could buy local eggs from him. I don't know where these new folks are from, but they should just go back or take a sales training course in customer service. read more

Extremely rude and very short with customers. I brought in a small item that I sold on Ebay that was already packed and labeled. USPS has this location as a designated drop off on their website, besides the fact that a USPS sign is out front and I live 5 minutes away. The owner went on a agitated rant on how he doesn't make any money on items that are already packed and labeled "since thats how he makes his money." Its not my fault you bought a bad business model, besides the fact that you signed an agreement with the post office. Funny thing is when I first walked in and noticed they had a small convenient store; milk, eggs, etc.. I took note to come back as there's not much near by without going down the hill into town. But after the attitude I received you lost one of the few customers you have and I will tell as many people as possible to do the same. You give us small business owners a bad name! read more

They are always friendly, sure there's a wait a lot of the times but the convenience of being in the Forest and the helpful staff, I'm a fan. Never had any lost packages from here and often times when I'm going in to overnight something, he/she will give me better options. Last time saved me $17. 00. Rude! I strapped on my mask as the sign at the door asked me to and waited in line for several minutes with my ebay packages. While I was next in line the woman behind the counter lamented that they were short on boxes because "the ebayers come in and steal them all!". As an ebayer I took offense to that. I do take boxes from the post office, I then fill them up and pay the post office for shipping them. I am a regular customer and ship many boxes per week and now I know how this particular post office feels about me. I was then waved over to another counter to put my items on, all with pre-paid labels ready to ship. I never said a word, I usually don't when I've been muzzled with my mask, and especially after being called a thief. She handed me my receipt and never said a word to me. As I was walking out she loudly said "You're welcome!". So I guess now the customer is supposed to thank the post office for the opportunity to allow us to ship my boxes with them. I would even give than a lower review if I could. Sent a package to NIH, with their from and to addressees on the cylinder, to make sure it would get there, this was degradable material, sent priority, She made me fill out a return address form bigger than the TO; address. against my wishes. Package was back in my mailbox the next day, went to denver and back to me. I called, it was my fault as the package was cylinder and they pick up the address it shows up, even though that was what was shipped to me and they accepted it back with no question. I resent it, but it had sat in my mailbox for two days in the sun. so material may no longer be viable and will cost me to get a new sample. Neither the Blackforest Post Office or the Briargate will refund, as they both say it is the other's problem. I know I will be using UPS or Fedx in the future. The Blackforest woman I spoke with was rude and not very helpful, when I said there is a return address on the package. I have used the Blackforest Post office, for 11 years, no way ever again. read more
