The estimate was close to the final cost of the deck. He scheduled it about 4 months out because he was booked with other jobs until late summer but he started on time and completed on plan. This was a complete replacement including footings and framing. His work is impeccable and it shows in the results. While attaching the frame to the house he had to remove some siding and found some rotted wood. He replaced that and the siding so the house wall is like new. He also ordered the materials, arranged for deliveries and removed the old deck and waste from the site. He talked with me throughout the job about progress and any issues or design decisions. I'm very pleased with the deck and privacy fence and would hire him again for other construction jobs and I give him the highest recommendation.

Lots of little jobs. He started working that day, came and finished the next. Work was well done, place left clean, he's knowledgeable, polite, and his pricing is very fair. He also went to my father's home the same day on the fly without any qualms. The day of the work, John and his teammate, Brady, arrived on-time. I had cut down some small trees and piled them prior to his arrival. The first thing he did was chip and dispose of them expeditiously and efficiently. Every step of the way he explained what he was going to do and why. I had trees overhanging my home and he confidently came right in, broke them down and his work was AMAZING. He ensured that the grounds were picked up so you couldn't even tell he was there except for the missing trees! I can't thank him enough for the work he did! His skills are unmatched and I recommend him whole-heartedly to anyone needing tree work. His prices can't be beat either!

Thus began the long process of dealing with insurance and professional cleaners, but when it came time to paint, Red Ladder Painting Co made the experience seamless and most enjoyable. John helped us to navigate color choices and paint questions, and to orchestrate the process of preparing each room and its contents for painting. We were lucky that John was able to fit us into his schedule and, as busy as he is, he saw the job through to the end without a hiccup. In addition to their stellar painting skills, John and Jim took great care in sealing off rooms to avoid dust transfer and, each afternoon, they left the spaces clean, neat, and tidy. This was much appreciated, given that we were living in the house during this time. And, during this time of COVID, they took the responsibility of mask-wearing and social-distanting very seriously. In short, John and Jim made our house glow! We would not hesitate to have them back and recommend them without a doubt!

John replied promptly and met us to review the project. He was helpful with his insights about the wallpaper removal and plastering. His estimate was reasonable. All in all, the job was done in a most excellent fashion, the rooms look much improved. We're happy to know the walls are in better shape than when they started. The painting job is so fine, we are entirely pleased. John's estimate was reasonable and his work was excellent. I strongly recommend Red Ladder Painting.
