My wife and I are hands-on homeowners and when we hire people to do work it isn't because we can't…read moredo it, but because we are tired and need a break. This means we tend to be quite involved and we tend to project the expectations we have of ourselves onto the folks doing work for us. This is sometimes an unhappy marriage of dissimilar ideologies. Eagle Fencing Limited has worked well for us because at their core they are about relationships. It is one thing for a crew to come in and deliver a close approximation of the estimate and call a job done. It's quite another thing for them to ask how we feel about the progress along the way and to facilitate the necessary changes when things don't feel right. Eagle Fencing Limited has built about 350' of fencing for us during three separate jobs and they have been fantastic to work with. We know they will be here when they say they will be here. We know to expect them to get done everything they say they will get done in a day and we know that they will not ask us to sign off on a job until it meets our expectations. They are driven by an ethic that has at its center a value for the relationships behind the work, and that is hard to find in a crew. I give them full marks because they do exactly what they say they are going to do and they do it well, quickly and for a good price. They have connections for quality cedar and they use stainless fastners, which is rare. This is a fence crew with a ton of experience, a serious work ethic and a keen sense of what is right when it comes to working with people and that makes them a rare find for homeowners and contractors alike.

We hired Eagle Fencing to install a fence two years ago, and unfortunately, the quality has not…read moreheld up. The fence is already coming apart, which was surprising to my son -- who is a contractor -- especially after he saw that nails were used instead of wood screws. That shortcut alone says a lot about the workmanship. To make matters worse, during installation they damaged a pipe in my underground watering system. I didn't discover it until the system was flushed for winter, which led to additional repair costs. Additionally, they were careless with the mixing of concrete, resulting in unsightly stains on the driveway. These stains appear to be permanent and have not been removable despite multiple attempts to clean them. I reached out to the company about the pipe damage, but never heard back. Between the poor construction, unexpected damage, and lack of response, I cannot recommend Eagle Fencing.

They have a beautiful portfolio of fencing, railings and gates - I would contact them again, especially for more decorative services. My only comment is that I would have liked to have been offered more options. Upon installation I realized that they didn't have self-closing hinges on the gates (which is code for swimming pools). I assumed they would know and would have self-closing hinges already. And I would have chosen fancier gate latches, so I'll be replacing the basic ones soon. Bottom line - they do great work and are nice people, be specific and ask questions and you'll be very happy with them!
