My nephew gets a kick out of always spotting deer here! We always pack snacks or a picnic lunch, plenty of picnic tables to share. My favorite is the pond here, always seems to have birds, fish and lot's of ducks! Make sure to bring along some bread to share. Lot's of benches through out the park, perfect for taking a break and still able to see the entire park.

LOVE this park. It's a really great alternative to Veteran's Memorial Park. I often think that…read moreVeteran's Memorial is tough for little kids (1-3) because bigger kids often shove them out of the way and they end up getting hurt, the playground slides are really huge, and it's a little harder to keep an eye on multiple kids. Martin Road Park is smaller, has benches to sit where you can keep an eye on multiple kids, and has slightly smaller playsets. My three-year-old loves this park because he can easily climb around and run his Hot Wheels cars along the playset. There is also a pond with fish and ducks - bring some bread scraps! There are also a lot of shaded picnic tables - so bring a lunch while you're at it as well!

The park was easy to find and I immediately noticed that it was well maintained. The lodge has a full kitchen, is clean and spacious. They also have an outdoor patio area for grilling, and the best part is that the grills are under an awning incase it decides to rain on the day of your event. The lodge also has a fully functioning fireplace, which is gigantic. This is a great spot to rent for casual events like birthdays, graduation parties or even a holiday party.

A true minor league ballpark for a short-season, single A team. Before the season began, I wanted…read moreto buy tickets for a couple specific games online, but the site didn't work. I emailed for assistance and received a reply from Nate Deavers, the Box Office Manager, in prompt fashion to say they had identified and fixed the website issue. Very helpful, so a big 'thank you' to Nate. Falcon Park has that small town/community feel to it. Prices for tickets or concessions are reasonable, and there's free parking across the street from the park. The park also provides great access to the players (and the players I've had the opportunity to say hello to/get autos from have all been wonderful - also, the team will often have at least one player doing a signing before games), so you can get autographs easily. The only hiccup I really experienced was in trying to find the stamp for the MiLB BallPark Passport book I brought with me...they had moved it from the little souvenir store to a table near the entrance, but the guy working at the table couldn't find the stamp and had to go on a hunt for it. It ended up being in a big bin of disorganized papers and whatnot he brought to the table... a bit of a process to find it though. TL;DR Enjoyable, small town, single A park. Nice opportunity to see players as they're just starting out in the minor league system.

They offer equipment rental and have some equipment for use for the convenience of their customers. This allows not just coaches with equipment to use their facility. They offer safety nets, pitching machines, machine balls, bounce backs, goals, plates, and more. The owner was easy to work with and went above and beyond with getting the cage ready for our arrival. The facility is clean and indoor nets, barriers, and equipment are in great shape. They offer a viewing and sitting area for parents and teams. Plenty of parking.

They always do fun theme nights and giveaways, including Dog Days at the Park, where you can bring your pup and there's a section dedicated to dogs and their owners. We definitely chose the best giveaway this year! They had Buster cereal bowls and full-size boxes of Cheerios, which are very well-loved by my kids. I just took my boys this time. One insisted on popcorn, while the other wanted nachos. The popcorn must have been delicious because he had to sit a whole row away from us to prevent his brother from repeatedly grabbing handfuls. It's definitely an overall win. Between the atmosphere, the games, the fun promotions, and the fact that I spent just over $10 on snacks for the boys, I really can't complain!

The Bisons Event team absolutely nailed it. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the venue space itself was perfect. From a planning perspective, the entire day was completely seamless. We didn't have to worry about a single detail, which allowed us to be fully present and cherish every moment with our guests. John was attentive, accommodating and so friendly. Jarrett took the time to come down and meet us and check in on how things were going. We cannot recommend hosting an event and working with you and your team at Sahlen's Field highly enough.

It serves children in the area of Buffalo, and many of them are very clearly talented. Apparently, this group has been around since 1959 and the league offers a whole range of programs for children of different ages and skill levels. They have Tee Ball, baseball, softball, camps, participate in tournaments and also organize events. And the league has also enjoyed competitive success over the years, winning New York State Little League championships, including state titles in the past. Also, the park for their game play has several fields and a concession stand with pretty good burgers, hot dogs and nachos. They also have soda and water on site and are pup friendly. Family fun all around -- and a bit of competition.
