The store is owned/run? by four women who weave and one woman who does a mix of crafts including painting silks and dying other fabrics. There is a wide assortment of fashion items to purchase - jackets, shawls, hats, scarfs, bags, children clothing, jewelery - and a small variety of pottery scattered throughout the store. You really need to just check it out in person to see the great craftsmanship of the items. The saleswoman, who is also one of the artists, was quite nice and even tried to help us find items that might work for my mom. It was so wonderful getting to look at all of the items in this store, I just wish I had a big stack of cash to buy everything. They even held the piece for me while I figured out my schedule to pick up the piece. I love what I bought, and saw many other high-quality (and well-priced!) items in the store. The store's layout was also very attractive and well-designed, so that you could imagine how each piece would look in your house. I have had a lot of hit-or-miss experiences at vintage stores, and can say that Adelaide's was a treat. They also had delicious cookies, baked by one of the staff :) totally recommend!
