A slightly unconventional choice, yes, but it was SO much fun. True, the flowing gin and white wine helped significantly to make it a fabulous day, but if you've never played bingo on this scale before, then you have got give it a go. It may have been because we were feeling particularly giggly and excitable when we got there, but the staff on the front desk didn't really seem that helpful and we had to get a third person to explain the rules to us when we got into the main hall. Eventually though, we got the rules straight and the bingo began. I swear, my heart was beating so hard with all the excitement (they go so fast!) that I was quite exhausted at the end of each round. We laughed the whole way through, but I feel I must warn you that some people take it frighteningly seriously. We even witnessed an out-and-out Jeremy Kyle-style fight between the bingo caller and a woman who apparently didn't shout loud enough to stop the game. Rule No. 1 - SCREAM if you win. Drink and food prices are immensely cheap at £2.70 for a 187ml bottle of wine (Blossom Hill signature white, oh yes) and £2.75 for sausage and chips. You can't go wrong really. Unless you hate greasy, canteen-style food of no discernible nutritional value. In that case, I'd bring a packed lunch. At £9 for five afternoon games, it's pretty good value for such a laugh as we had. We're already planning our next outing. We might even win something next time.

When I go to this club I usually get there early and make a afternoon of night of it. The bingo is priced up with different deals on certain days of the week. Sometimes there is an all in ticket price. I personally prefer to go on days that aren't all in as I'm not quick enough to do a strip of 6 at the same time. The decor is a little dated, but the atmosphere makes up for that. They have recently put in some wizard machines for people who the machines to do the work. There is party bingo and a fruit machine area.

There is a cafe area which sells food such as fish and chips, burgers or jacket potatoes which are great value for money. There is a slot machine area too if you don't want to play bingo or fancy your luck after the games have finished. The staff are really helpful especially if you are not sure what books to buy if you are new to the Bingo game. I joined a few years ago and it was £1 to join then and you recieve a membership card in the post. The prices are great and there are loads of bingo games, with prices from around £10 to hundreds of thousands. It makes a great change to the usual night out and is full of people of all ages, male and female, a real mix, so never think that Bingo is for old people because it's not. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much fun a night out here can be even if you don't win!

I have been visiting this club for sometime now and have just become a member. They have a darts…read moreteam on a tuesday night, crib on wednesdays bingo thurdays and sundays and entertainment every saturday evening. Recently they helped raise £4000 pounds for Cancer Reasearsh UK by allowing the use of the hall for free and the garden for a BBQ with use of there own equipment. They also support Yateley Green football club. They have a big screen and 2 flat screen TV for people to watch and its not just football that you can watch every other sport has a chance to be aired as well. I recently went on a saturday night and they had a Wii night it was great fun and well attended and our team won £30 by comming first. Not the first time we have won we attended the Quiz night with 2 other friends not usually my thing but had a great time and won again so if you get a chance come sus it out and have a great time cheep drinks and good entertainment especially on a Saturday night
