Don't go in expecting anything fancy, but you can definitely count on a fun atmosphere and good vibes. The bingo crew was fabulous and loved seeing the groups of people having a great time. There's a bar on-site, and they serve food too. I tried the dumplings, and they were a great choice! I have not being to any other events so I can't speak about that.

Being a newbie, everyone around me was very helpful explaining things. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that they have a smoking section that I, even as a smoker find overwhelming. We sat it non-smoking but it fills up fast and I still smelled cigarettes.
