Our son was in a phase of 'stranger danger' when we first met Ms. Maria, but he felt immediately comfortable with her, which was a sign for us. Initially, we wanted to start with just a few days a week and gradually increase, but thanks to the integration period at LWF, within a few weeks he was happily attending full days and loving it. Both Evelyn and Maria work incredibly hard and are true professionals. There have been weekends when my son wanted to go to LWF. Statements directly from my little one: Me: How was your day at school? LO: It was great, just great! Me: Do you like going to school? LO: Yes, I do! Me: What do you like about it? LO: I like my teachers and friends. He always comes home happy, and we are so thankful for LWF. After her previous preschool closed, we were fortunate to find Woodside West, and it has been one of the best decisions we've made. The teachers are incredible--kind, patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in each child's success. You can tell they truly care about the children and create a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel safe, loved, and encouraged to learn. One of the first things I noticed was how secure the campus is. The coded front gate gives me peace of mind every day, and the school's convenient location is an added bonus. My daughter came from a preschool that focused more on free outdoor play with very little structure. Since attending Woodside West, she has grown so much. The curriculum does a wonderful job preparing children for the transition to elementary school through tracing, hands-on learning activities, sensory play, and age-appropriate academics, while still making learning fun. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful! The playground is large, well maintained, and has soft artificial turf with plenty of play structures for the kids to enjoy. During warmer weather, they also have water tables, sensory bins, and other engaging outdoor activities. And of course, Dance Friday is always a highlight of the week! You can truly see the passion the owner has for the school. Their dedication and years of experience shine through in every aspect of the program and the caring atmosphere they've created. I also recently learned they offer a Big Kids Club for school-age children during summer break, which is such a wonderful option for families. We are so grateful for everything Woodside West has done for our daughter. She has grown academically, socially, and emotionally, and she is excited to go to school every day. His younger brother has followed in his steps and is currently with Miss Jessica, keeping her on her toes. As our boys get older and continue to evolve, embracing their boy energy, the teachers really take the time to connect and find ways to communicate effectively with them (and us!). It really makes you feel like you're a giant parenting team. It's been the equivalent to having a second pair of mom hands. We absolutely love the teachers! Miss Jessica, Miss Mary, and Miss Allison have all been wonderful and instrumental to the growth in our boys. Diana has been a true gem of a business leader and we simply could not have done the early years without this incredible group of women. Both boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
