My daughter went in for a cut and Color. The cut was well done but the colour was a disaster. Do not recommend for colouring!

Wow, my last update for Two Horses was in 2015, that's kind of bonkers. This was my first time visiting their new location over on St Hubert, and though it's a bit hectic to get there past the ongoing construction, the sidewalk is intact and the spot is totally lovely. There is a big bright clean welcoming tattoo area, and then a gorgeous room for haircuts and colour. The space is a great mix of vintage textile art, rocker tattoo design, mid-century modern furniture, vintage taxidermy and other bits of found art highlights, and gorgeous wallpaper and tiling. It really looks great in there and feels comfortable and cool. I had to wait about 20 minutes for my cut, but I was served a coffee with oatmilk which was delicious, and the non-binary friendly relaxed vibes were deeply nice to sink and soak in for a bit. The head massage and wash were wonderful - apparently they have some new chairs for the wash and these were definitely more comfortable than some others I've experienced. I had my ridiculously long wild witch hair cut by the kind and wise Christie, and it was such a pleasure to get to chat with her. Most importantly, I dug her advice for the cut and love how it turned out. It feels healthy and looks like me and I feel like I know how to take care of it without having to add a bunch of work to my life. Big big fan.

What I loved about this salon is they went above and beyond to make me happy and it was such a wonderful welcome to the French Canadian people. Benoit and Daniele beautifully styled our hair. First let me tell you how they treated us with EXCEPTIONAL FULL SERVICE. I was in a terrible time crunch and did not have time to do my nails so they brought me a nail file, acetone, and I did my own nails while they were doing my hair. They also brought us a big standing makeup light and let us stay in the styling chairs after they were done so that we could do our makeup. And to top it off, a glass of champagne or a beverage of your choice to only make things better! Finally and most importantly, Benoit and Daniele did a beautiful job on our hair! They were both so diligent and skilled. We have long thick ethnic hair and even though it probably took them much more time than the average set of hair to style, they charged us such a reasonable amount. I loved my experience. They are a relatively new business and imagine they will grow a set of loyal clientele quickly based on their exceptional service.

I was not aware that this was applicable. Yr obliged to sanitize upon entering and again upon registering which is a spray on yr hands and your given a very small cotton square with alcohol to clean yr phone if your using it. So obviously they need to sanitize the station before and after . But that fee would pay for a bottle per client. Wowow .... I was not impressed by that...

3 strikes, you're out! After 3 visits, I just cannot tolerate the customer service at the front…read moredesk. When you pay $70 +tip for a mens haircut at a salon, there is a minimum bar of customer service & attention -- every single time that bar has not been met. If you're available between 11am - 4pm to patiently deal with front desk staff while they figure out how to use their systems, re-repeat your name, phone number, email, schedule and your preferred stylist (and call you repeatedly), and then find no slots for you in the next month.. this place is for you. If you feel that $70 (+tip!) warrants customer service that goes above and beyond and offers flexibility to your 9-5 working schedule **without charging a "no-show" fee after you call to say you're late and get the answering machine** then you might want to look elsewhere. To the management: I recommend a review of front desk staff policies & interactions. The two front desk staff seem more interested in Instagram than customers. PS. Haircuts are OK, Anthony is quite good..
