I was visiting Minneapolis from Canada, and my two friends and I decided to go on this brewery tour. When we got on the bus (Valentine's day), the driver Nick, had Valentine's cards and chocolate waiting for us. He explained the whole process of the evening, hooked our phones up to his bluetooth speaker, and was an absolute gem! Nick knew a lot about each brewery, told us about their seasons, the types of people that worked there, told us about the history of each place, and encouraged each of us to try particular beers based on our tastes. We got really hungry (all you can drink beer), so Nick gave us some of the buses pretzels (AMAZING), and made sure to find us some food. Amazing experience, will definitely do it again. First off, I've been to a lot of breweries and brewery tours, this by far has been my favorite means of doing so! The initial price you pay includes all beer**, the tour bus fee and all the tour info and brewers time provided by each brewery (each is different). **that's unlimited beer for 3 hours!!! Each brewery was so welcoming. We went to Northgate, socialable ciderwerks and boom island. The bus driver, Eric, was awesome, total sweetheart and very welcoming. You can tell great customer service is a priority in there company! I do recommend tipping ALL staff, as you can tell they care a great deal about your experience (brewery staff and drivers) Great job guys! read more

We hired Bitter Minnesota for a corporate outing with potential clients and had a great time! Erik, Eric & Nick were excellent guides to the area and knowledgeable about the Minneapolis beer scene. They made sure we stayed on schedule, offered to help round our guests up, and were more than accommodating in taking pictures & going with our crazy requests. Working with the owner, James, was a smooth and outstanding experience as well. He actually helped us in working out all of the details with a local catering/food truck and making sure set up went well. Came to visit Minneapolis and are really in to craft beer signed up for this tour and payed up front not knowing what to expect my wife and I had a blast so much fun our driver nick was super knowledgeable about the breweries and a really nice guy we had a amazing tour with the owner of a brewer and got to drink and try as much beer as we wanted at all of our stops for a all inclusive price I will do this tour agin and agin and agin if I lived in Minneapolis I would spend my week ends doing this all the time it's such a great deal thank you bitter Minnesota you made great memories for my wife and I on our anniversary! read more

We toured with Nick Beattie to Northgate, Sociable Cider Werks, and Boom Island Brewery and had a blast! Nick was not only knowledgable and friendly but you can tell he genuinely wanted everyone to have a great time. I had been to all three breweries before, but it's such a different and carefree experience to have someone driving you around and have the freedom to have flights or full pours at each brewery. This was my second tour with Bitter Minnesota. The first one I checked out the Mpls tour and this one we were on the St Paul tour. I had a blast on both tours. Great tour and bachelor party for a soon to be brother-in-law! We visited North Gate, Fair State (there we got to see where the magic of the brewing process happens - very cool) and Fulton.
