What a nice place with woodcarving, soaps and candles, along with vintage cards and posters. Also has a variety of puzzles and books. The owner was just super nice, friendly and helpful. Today was their one year anniversary of opening and I hope they have many more to come! Will definitely be back.

It's nice to see a candle store that isn't overloaded with the ubiquitous Yankee Candle crap. Candle Cottage carries Colonial House and several other brands I'd never heard of like Kringle (heavenly black tea scented candles) and Milk House (yummy soy scents, reasonably priced). They also have a large selection of house brand candles that are very well priced - the scents seemed hit or miss to me but there were lots of choices. We bought a candle as a gift here, and they were happy to wrap it in pretty fall tissue for us. If your cabin is a little musty, this place will help you banish the stink!

They have scents that I've never heard of and all their scents are accurate. By accurate I mean smells like the label minus cheap perfume additives. They also had lotion, soaps, t-shirts. CBD body products and handmade candle holders, the birch tree candle holders were cool. One of their scents was something like orange chili taco. Resulting in my immediate demand for tacos. Honestly, it sounded nasty but smelled excitingly accurate and fun! Lover and I had those geeky giant surprise smiles after sniffing the one that makes you crave tacos! I bought the Oakmoss &Amber and Tomato Leaf. The Tomato Leaf smells like the memory of a fresh garden and off the Vine tomatoes. My house will smell like a dirty garden and I can't wait. These folks make candles and live on the island year round. Support these tough islanders. They will ship, so check out their online shop and have a little scenty adventure!

Probably cover a few others, but those are definitely going to find something they like here. I'd say the taste overall skewed a little more cutesy than my own personal taste but I still found things I liked and would buy. And if I needed to buy someone a small gift for some reason, I'd definitely have this place on my list as places to look for that. Definitely worth your time to stop in and have a look around here.

It's a pretty large space with two sections--it looks like it was two storefronts that were combined into a single shop. The second section has some children and baby items as well as an ice cream shop, which was unexpected. I bought a cute photo frame and some warm super fluffy socks that I am really excited to wear (this is adulting, apparently). They had a small collection of books as well, and I can't seem to get out of a place that has children's books without buying one for my child. Incidentally the book I bought here, which is small and not one of great fame, has become her favorite book. The woman at the store was friendly when I checked out. Something to note is that it is not accessible. There is one or two steps to get into the main shop, and if you go to the part with the ice cream shop there are a couple steps to get into that half of the shop. Parking is plentiful.

They have a variety of items, so you could easily find a gift for someone here if you're not looking for yourself. They had some cute wind chimes and there was one I liked a lot, but I just moved and am not familiar enough with my new home to know where it could go. They had some plants and planters--I certainly don't need another planter but there was a hedgehog on that was too cute to leave on the shelf. They have some t-shirts, including some Park Falls souvenir ones. There were some baby items, jewelry, and what they're probably best known for--their bath bar. They had a nice large sink and a variety of oils, soaps, and so on for folks to smell and try. I didn't buy any bath stuff but I always appreciate when a store selling lotions and potions has a sink for you to rinse off. Service was friendly and not pushy. Parking is super easy; I'm not sure if there's ever a busy time in Park Falls, but there was street parking directly in front of the store and throughout the downtown.
