We opted to have the kids do Wool Painting, which was tons of fun, but walking around the My Creative Outlet store & the "craftiness" building/party room (a few doors down), we were able to see various other craft ideas that would be fun to explore at some point. Even many of their room decorations are handmade! If you haven't checked out My Creative Outlet, I highly recommend you do. Whether you buy an item from their store, take a class, host a party, or simply browse their store, the creative possibilities they offer are endless! We stopped back through for a tea and honey tasting in the afternoon. I can't say enough good things about the staff at Topanga nursery. The grounds are surprising. You really have to see it because you can't judge it from the street. There are community classes and activities. Follow their IG and FB pages then go to their website to view a calendar. You can go to the Just Vibes grab a custom coffee and then walk the grounds and speak with the staff about what they offer there as far as trees and plants. They also have beehives and in their gift shop they have every variety of honey you can think of as well as lovely gift items from books to body care to jewelry to honey. It is a hidden treasure in the San Fernando Valley. It's a fun day out for families with kids and just by yourself. Go check them out!
