This place is always very lively and located on the busy Ratinger street in downtown Düsseldorf. Here, I ordered my very first Bananenweizen. Though I don't like bananas, this banana wheat beer made from German Hefe mixed with banana juice somehow has the perfect taste that I can't explain. It comes in a tall pint glass. The staff was happy to explain each of the beers as it was my first time in Germany, so I was unfamiliar with the drink menu. Great place to come and I recommend this to any football fan who loves a good German brew during the match

However, I did have a coffee, and as is typical it was a nice black coffee with cream. In a way I did get to experience the place, but it just doesn't feel the same having a coffee as opposed to having a beer, especially since I was in Germany at the time.

The waiter ignored us most of the time. When 2 of my coworkers asked for 2 wines, he brought one. When they mentioned they needed 2, he said you should have said that in advance. I tried to order another beer in German trying to be friendly, he said calm down and never took my order. He also scolded me because my coworkers had left the used ketchup satchets in a coaster holder. Again, not a fault of mine. When my Pakistani colleague ordered a salad, he yelled, 'salad from India'!! If you're brown skinned, this may not be a place for you.

I like the salad specially, but the steaks are also not bad either. The place is lounge style bar-restaurant. There is usually enough space, but weekend evenings are good to reserve beforehand. The personnel is ok, service not allways so smooth or super friendly, but it doesn't disturb me, as I know it already.
