Pleasant little bistro with indoor tables and sidewalk tables, a bar, an attached pastry bar, and coffee-located a couple of blocks from the Arno river and near several hotels. Ambiance was casual and relaxed-no one was rushing diners.
Food -we stopped for a light lunch -that turned out to be large portions. We tried the traditional Croque Madame (ham, cheese, egg) sandwich and the wild boar pasta. Both were hearty and tasty. The (typical Italian) menu had a nice variety of choices.
Service-service was helpful and friendly.
Facility-Although the inside was pleasant, we chose to eat outside on a fair day. The outdoor tables are simple and close together, but have cloth tablecloths. As expected with sidewalk restaurants next to busy streets, there is street noise -but it's all part of the experience.
The pastries inside looked yummy, but we were too full to try them this time.
We would come back to this cozy neighborhood spot again. read more
