I visited the lounge for the first time on Mardi Gras. It was a fantastic location to watch the parade. We also ordered food and had plenty of spares to stretch out inside to eat. There was also plenty of space out front to celebrate together with friends and family, and also play around and ride the bull. Thanks for hosting! Amazing pizza experience. I tried the chicken shawarma pizza at Lux Plates and Pours and it was truly exceptional. The crust was perfect. The toppings were generous and flavorful. They actually let me choose some extra toppings. And the combination of chicken shawarma, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, jalapenos, special crema and queso fresca was a game changer. The service was also top notch. I would highly recommend this pizza to anyone looking for a unique pizza experience. There's nothing like it in Southwest Louisiana. Not to mention the good vibes. Wife and I came in for Saturday brunch. Excellent Tasso Egg Benedict!! They overcooked my wife's eggs a bit, but in their defense she didn't specify how she likes them. Their potatoes were to die for! Note: no one under 21 allowed. No artificial sweeteners for the coffee. Only sugar. Their service was pretty good for a bar and grill. The decor in the place was nice. We were in Lake Charles for a swim meet. We found this place & wanted to check it out. Food was really good! Lemon drop martini was on point. Service was very friendly & attentive. They had a one man band singing when we went Saturday in the early afternoon. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because one of the waitresses selected a vulgar song by Nicki Minaji to play & proceeded to turn it up. This place is cool. We frequent here often and I'm surprised there's no reviews yet so I'll brief ya. It's got this club feel to it but not. Kinda like if blue martini was a dive bar. So it's a little classy but pretty relaxed. It's on the smaller side, there's a DJ stand, a private area that's just kinda a step up with a rope in the corner. Honesty didn't notice that til I was told. Every time we've gone the service has been outstanding. They play music louder than background music which we like. There's isn't any draft beer so I want to take away a star but the staffs drinks make up for it. Me, being a bit older I like to go a little earlier before the Surround sound goes on. I've been here 2 times and sat outside twice. The service: wonderful. Our waiter was Marshall and he was very helpful and attentive. The drinks I had both times were great. They have happy hour mon-fri 2-6 everything half off. The second time I visited, I tried the food. We had a burger, fries, fish and chips, spinach dip, fried pickles and peppers, fried mushrooms and a Reuben. The sole purpose for this visit was to try the Reuben. It was a contender for best of Lake Charles. My honest opinion is that the sandwich was a bit dry. The meat was falling out all over the place in tiny pieces. There wasn't much sauce inside, and the bread was too thick and dense, overpowering the whole experience. I was underwhelmed with it. The rest of the food was really good(except for the fish-it tasted similar to frozen fish sticks). Also, no kids menu. I'd at least add a side or an appetizer that a child might enjoy. read more
