I have lived here almost 10 months and I CANT WAIT until my 12 month lease is up. They "promised"…read morethat nobody would be coming into my apartment without my permission, but I found out that was not the case. They do not take care of their appliances and my water heater was probably original to the complex that was built in the 1970's. When I called the emergency line because my water heater was literally crumbling and leaking water, he divulged that he specifically had been to my apartment twice that week to check on my water heater and they had decided they were going to just keep "buying time" until they could get a free day to fix the heater. Well they let it go to far and it ended up leaking and falling apart. They also stated that they would treat the entire complex for pests. Well I had two inch diameter spiders when I first moved in, and I finally went and bought my OWN bug spray and spray my apartment MONTHLY because of how bad the bug problem is (the apartment I have is "overlooking a lake" which is really just a man made pond that is not kept up or clean and is just a mossy algae mess which leads to an ENORMOUS amount of bugs in the buildings and hallways). My neighbors are kinda weird (it is mainly government housing here, which I am not on) and my one neighbor plays REALLY loud music til 11:00 PM sometimes which i haven't complained to the office about, but its because I know they don't care about my oven taking an hour to boil 2 cups of water, they are not going to care about my neighbors making noise. The pet fee is insane and costs $250 for deposit, and $25 a month for rent. The carpet was not changed when I moved in and in the corners, you can see the sub flooring and no padding under neath the carpet. The appliances are original to the complex and are older than me (I'm 25). Super inefficient for utility bills, which are outrageous if you ever use anything (because it takes an hour to boil a cup of water). I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE.

The people in the office weren't super friendly but they would listen to any concerns. I had to move out due to unfortunate circumstance, and the office won't let me off of the lease UNTIL the other two are caught up on their rent. I have not lived there since the end of December. The people in the office aren't any help In this situation.

The water/dish washer has very high levels of lime in the water and when we complained to management they said that they have know about the problem for a while. All of our dishes were ruined in 1 month and they basically told us tough luck! I have found small pil bug (rolly-pollies) coming out from behind my bathroom counter and management said at least they aren't roaches. Also, be prepared for a sleepless night if a snow storm comes through because the contracted plow company will come run a snow-blower at 1 am!!!! After the second time this happened I called the front office at 12:30 am to leave a message about how I was unhappy that I was being woken-up in the middle of the night. I left my name, which apartment I lived in and my phone number; after my call wasn't returned I went into the office and talked to the manager in charge and she told me "I got your message, but I didn't recognize your name and so I didn't think the call was meant for us." what a line of crap! Why would a random stranger call an apartment complex at 12:30 in the morning giving their name, address and phone number to complain about a snow-blower if they didn't live there? I understand that this is only a rental and that everything cant be perfect but this is one of the more expensive complexes in the area so I guess I just expected more. UNIMPRESSED!
