History

Established in 1982.

Bisnett Insurance has been serving Northwest communities for over 30 years. Roger Bisnett started in the insurance business in 1980 and formed Bisnett Insurance in 1982. The organization has achieved growth organically and through acquisition to an agency that now has 8 locations in three states with over 36 employees, most of them licensed insurance professionals. Other Oregon office locations include: Hood River, Lake Oswego, John Day, Milton-Freewater, and Baker City. We also have an office in Scottsdale, Arizona and Ketchum, Idaho.

Meet the Business Owner: Roger B.

Founder Roger S. Bisnett splits his time between the Lake Oswego insurance headquarters branch and the Scottsdale office. He founded Bisnett Insurance in 1980. He started the business in a small office near Gordon's Electric in Pendleton and moved shortly thereafter to Court & Main next to the Rainbow. After the acquisition of Sherwood & Roberts in 1983 he relocated the business to the present location at 121 S. Main Street. We remain an insurance agency rooted in local business, agriculture, and families even though the business has expanded to other rural and urban communities. He and his wife Linda have two children--their son Stephen works for Bisnett and daughter Helen works for Fender Guitar. His main area of focus is guiding the business, its acquisitions and its executives as the Chairman of the Board.
