Accidents happen, and how a business handles them says far more than the mistake itself…read more While I was in Bishop for a golf tournament, I took my vehicle here for a wash. Unfortunately, a high-pressure washer was mistakenly used on my vehicle, which caused a significant tear in the custom wrap on my bumper. The owner was out of town at the time, so the employees asked me to reach out once he returned. A few days later, I drove back to speak with him in person. I brought the repair estimate with me, and without any hesitation/arguments, or attempts to avoid responsibility, he immediately wrote me a check to cover the full cost of the repair. In today's world, it seems increasingly rare to find businesses that take ownership of a mistake with honesty and professionalism. I was genuinely impressed by how respectfully and fairly the situation was handled. The owner was friendly, professional, and stood behind his business without making the process difficult. Because of that, I would absolutely recommend this family-owned business. Their integrity and customer service earned my trust, and I'll gladly return the next time I'm passing through the area.

Just before I arrived in town, my car's indicator light came on so it was time! My friend (who is local) recommended this place so I took her up on her rec. You get a free car wash along with your oil change. I was under the impression this place would be a crazy deal based on what my friend said. When I arrived, I saw there were prices posted along an arch where you park your car in the line. $105 for oil change with synthetic. What a deal, I thought. There was a parenthesis for +filter. I understood it as the filter was included, but I learned it means you'll need to also pay for the filter and that was not included. My total bill came out to $153. $105 + $20 filter + $20 labor (?) and then tax I guess? The estimated wait time was 60-90 min. I was also alerted to enter the office ready with my odo reading and license plate number. The lady working the desk was very stern... She was all about the biz. I found she was much friendlier to the other patrons. Given that I was the only asian customer in there, and all the patriotic decor, I got the idea... No biggie but it was worth mentioning since I didn't feel super comfortable hanging out inside. I had planned to run errands nearby while I waited anyway. Once I got back, I waited outside on the one bench as the workers dried my car. The workers outside were very friendly. They also asked me to check my car to make sure things looked good. Honestly it wasn't great, but for a free car wash it sure was. The car wash & vacuum were sufficient. My car ran well on the drive back up to the Bay Area so I assume everything else went well. I wouldn't mind coming back again in the future if I was in the area and needed an oil change. Maybe I'll get a (paid) carwash next time and see how that goes and report back!
