They were available if we needed anything and still very unobtrusive. We stopped at a vineyard along the way and arrived in late afternoon at the immaculate, charming Open Cross Ranch. The owners/hosts could not have been more gracious, and even the beautiful horses were friendly. The guest houses are charming and have authentic ranching antiques collected over years by the family. They include quilts made by the hostess and every amenity you would ever need in the kitchen. We stayed up late sitting around the fire pit wrapped in soft blankets, telling stories, and watching the stars. We came away refreshed and with beautiful pears we were invited to pick from trees gracing the property. I highly recommend this lovely place.

We stayed there a week and said it wasn't clean enough though we followed the rules and check out procedures exactly. The owner needs to not call the renters so much! Only when necessary.
