We were…read moreactually one of those couples who originally planned to elope because we were worried a wedding would be overwhelming, stressful, and filled with hidden costs. Looking back now, choosing Vista Lago was one of the best decisions we made because they made the entire process feel so easy, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end. One of the biggest highlights was having a day-of coordinator INCLUDED in the package. Since she works directly with the venue, she knew absolutely everything top to bottom -- the timeline, vendors, setup, flow of the evening, and every behind-the-scenes detail. We never had to answer questions, solve problems, or stress about what came next because she already had everything handled before we even thought about it. We truly got to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day. The staff also went above and beyond all night long. They continuously brought us hors d'oeuvres, drinks, dinner, and cake so we actually got to enjoy all the amazing food during the wedding. At the end of the night, they carefully packaged all of our leftovers and even saved the top of our cake for us before we left. Those thoughtful details meant so much to us. The venue was beautiful, the service was incredible, the pricing was fair, and there were no surprise fees or last-minute issues. Everything was transparent, organized, and handled with so much care. We felt so taken care of throughout the entire experience and are beyond grateful to the Vista Lago team for giving us such an unforgettable wedding day

A wonderful venue for any occasion, in my humble opinion. We were in a clear sided tent which was well illuminated and the air conditioning did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Joe is good to work with. But more importantly you need a great planner. Ours was Jessica G. Events. Was very disappointed in a few of their vendors, I'm posting here because they were recommended by the venue and don't have their own yelp page. Belkis floral- beautiful flowers but forgot the tall floral at the alter and the petals. Forgot we didn't want boutonnières. Very aloof when inquired after the wedding. Sagno catering: The apps were not like we had the tasting. The bruschetta was a tiny bit of tomato topping. Looked very sparse, the dates and walnuts were tiny, only saw the coconut shrimp once in the passed apps. The steak on the main course of the plated dinner was very small nothing like the tasting we had at secret gardens. Chicken Alfredo tortilini was not plated as we tasted. Everything was smaller portioned than our tasting. We did not go with Sagno for the cake since I did not like their cake. We ordered tiramisu, the tiramisu was not made with marscapone instead cream cheese, obviously cheaper and not the right taste. The Miami events- awesome all the way around! The violinist was amazing, the dance floor beautiful and great DJ. Drinks by us- great to work with but only around 8 bottles that were average brands. For a full open bar not sure it would be enough for a lager crowd. There are a lot of additional costs to the all inclusive price. I did feel a little nickeled and dimed about the early access for the brides room. 765.00 to get in the room 7:30 instead of 10. The room is empty and I thought that to be a pricey add on. Beware there is construction on the grounds and the bride and grooms rooms need some updating. All in all the wedding was amazing and like the backdrop of Secret Gardens.

A truly "exquisite production" is exactly what they were able to accomplish for us last week... What exactly stood out?? ... The Service - was impeccable. Raquel made sure that we had plenty of food to munch on and water in between all of the drinks our friends and family kept giving us! Not to mention the fact that she personally went up to our grandparents to ask them what they would like for dinner from the Buffet so they wouldn't have to stand up from their seats! Top notch service in our opinion! While we are on the topic of Buffet - the Food was delicious! How often do you say that at a wedding?!? There was definitely a WOW factor in the quality and quantity of food available for our 130 guests! Due to our layout at the venue, we were limited to Buffet style, but it worked out beautifully! The Dj announced table by table, and there were servers behind the buffet to keep the line moving. The Music was on point the entire evening! The DJ played every song we requested and more with smooth transitions including music variations for ALL generations at the reception! He even squeezed in a last minute request for Tango for all of our Argentine guests - what a special moment! The Bar was fully stocked! There was no stingy booze service at our wedding! Carlos (I think that was his name) was an awesome bartender, cranking out the cocktails like a champ, even with the high demand from guests! The Cake - Eddas 4 tier cake was stunning, delicious and also INCLUDED in our all-in-one package by EP. Absolutely amazing! It was obvious that Exquisite Productions as a whole are highly experienced and skilled with event planning for every budget which truly made a difference in making our dream bayside wedding come to life!! Left a Google review for the venue…read more.. I recently attended a wedding here as a guest. I could nit pick (bartender couldn't make a drink for her life) but overall the food and service was good. However, they are getting a one star review. Why? Because after speaking with the groom I learned that this venue forced them to use their "preferred DJ vendor" and this guy SUCKED. I did not want to ruin my friend's wedding by badmouthing their DJ so when I asked what the DJ's name was, he said he did not know but that it was the venue's DJ and that they had to use him So I asked the bride and she said it was DJ FILA (not sure if that is spelled right). So let's talk about DJ Fila... 1 Half the time he wasn't even in his booth. I work in the industry and being a DJ is a performance service. You MUST be using your experience to feel the vibe of the crowd and select songs that build on that vibe. This guy literally ran some kind of crappy slow-song playlist during cocktails and dinner (TWO HOURS) and walked away for the majority of the time. His playlist included playing Lady Gaga's "Shallow" FOUR TIMES in a two hour period! He played Sade's "Smooth Operator" twice! Two of his four hours was this terrible, slow, sad auto-playlist...AT A WEDDING! 2. DJ Fila made no effort to build up the dance floor. I put song selection above mixing skill but you still gotta transition songs. He did not even try to transition songs. We went from one abrupt change to the next. 3. His idea of getting the dancefloor going was to throw on Cha Cha Slide then Cupid Shuffle back to back. He had no clue how to manage a dance floor. 4. The DJ and his emcee were totally unprepared to the extent that they introduced the bridal party one at a time by name but the groomsmen? They totally blanked out, messed it all up and just invited all the groomsmen to join the bridal party on the dance floor- no names or formal introductions like the others. You could see they were completely confused. 5. So many miscues, accidental stoppages of music, moments of dead silence, bad edits and bad mixes. 6. His attire was completely unprofessional for a wedding. Jeans, a white shirt and a backwards baseball cap is not appropriate DJ attire for a wedding. I truly don't know how my friend who got married felt about this DJ. I wasn't going to discuss it and bum him out at his wedding. I just wanted him to have a great time and I am sure he did DESPITE what I heard and saw (thank God it was open bar!). But I work in the industry and let me tell you, what I heard and saw was incredibly unprofessional. I would never normally take the time to review another DJ. We all have different styles and skill levels. But there must be some level of skill if you are going to do weddings. This DJ had none. Shame on this venue for foisting this poser on my unsuspecting friends but let it be a warning to all who are considering holding their wedding or other special life event at this venue. DO NOT LET THEM FORCE YOU TO USE THEIR DJ. If this is how they do business then you're better off finding another venue because your DJ will make your event memorable...one way or the other. In this case, it was not in the good way.

Even the inside looks outdated, looks more like a funeral home than a banquet hall. The outside where the wedding was held is actually nice. It had rained, and the employees did not even bother removing the excess water from the wood where all the wedding court was going to walk on. Someone could have slipped, the brides dress was drenched by the time she finished walking the aisle. Once seated inside, we all noticed the cups and champagne glasses had old lipstick stains. When we told the coordinator, she pretended not to even see it, when it was extremely visible. She sent the cups to be replaced, but never once apologized. The dj was not at all good ,the music barely inspired anyone to want to get up and dance. At the end of the reception, instead of politely informing us the event is reaching its end, they just turned on all the lights and abruptly shut off the music, and the dj said "times up" The food was not at all good. Overcooked vegetables, and the meat did NOT look edible. I honestly felt nothing was handled accordingly.

After a few lessons with Olga, we began to learn coupled combinations that Bobby always watched for technique to move us into the group dancing. The group classes are run very well.
