Couldn't be happier. Ordered personalized invitations for my baby shower and was kind of nervous because Of some of the reviews. Decided to order them anyway since the price was unbeatable. Order them on a Saturday received them the Saturday after. I love them will definitely will be a returning client and will recommend to family and friends. read more

Ordered a few decorations for my daughter's second birthday. I ordered 2 weeks before her birthday as the website stated I should receive the decorations on time. I paid for 2-4 day shipping. Company sent the items I ordered via first class mail and I have not received my items yet. I contacted customer service who said they would replace my items with expedited shipping, which I would NOT receive in time for my daughter's party. Very disappointed considering the whole party theme revolved around the decorations I ordered from this company. read more

I was looking on eBay for finding nemo table supplies and I was in shock with how expensive they were on there. Checked amazon and they were also way too expensive. So I decided to take a chance and look to google. I can across birthday direct and saw some bad reviews on here so I was weary. The prices were amazingly low and I called customer service to see when the package could be here. The lady was incredibly sweet and I found out they are based out of my husband's hometown so I had to give them a try. Got my package in a few days, great customer service, and definitely the lowest prices on net for birthday supplies. read more

This company has horrible customer service and doesn't make sure things arrive in the promised time. They don't offer refunds even if they are at fault. The owner is incredibly rude and doesn't deserve your business!!! read more

Just received my order from Birthday Direct today. While my order came quickly and the price was good I was disappointed with the quality of what I received (I ordered balloons, a birthday candle and food picks that were on clearance.). The two packs of food picks were drastically different from one another. One was in great quality and the other should be tossed in the trash. Luckily they were cheap so no problem. The balloons were not that great in color or quality. The candle was fine but I somehow ended up with two candles rather than just the one I wanted. Typically when you place an order with an online company they will send you an email confirmation showing what you purchased, an order # etc. I did not receive an email confirmation (like the website says you will) so I promptly contacted them (as is advised by site as well). The customer service rep said, "Well, your order shipped." That was it. (I had also created an account online but even that doesn't show your order history.) There are better companies to order birthday supplies from. I won't be giving Birthday Direct my business again. That's too bad because I had heard good reviews! Pros: + Fast Shipping + Low Price Cons: - Unreliable Quality - Poor Customer Service read more

My daughter wanted an E-I-E-I-O theme for her 2nd Birthday and some of our local stores had bits of this and that, but no one store had everything. So I took to the internet to plan the best E-I-E-I-O Birthday ever. Birthday Direct had the best prices and selection for our theme. I ended up getting stuff for goodie bags, cupcake toppers and party decorations. They shipped quickly and offered free shipping with a $65 order. My daughter was thrilled with her party and the guests kept commenting about how awesome the party supplies were! I'd definitely use them again. read more

This company is terrible! They sent me items complete differ from what I ordered. I ordered a party set with the Adventure Time theme for my son's 8th birthday party. My order arrived with not one Adventure Time product! Instead I got circus elephants, looks like it's for a baby shower. I sent them an email and called. I better get a refund. If they were out of stock they should have just told me that rather then send me random items and take me money. It's a rip-off! read more

Terrible experience. I ordered all the stuff I needed for my baby's first birthday. A week and a half went by without hearing a word after I placed my order. When I got in contact with them about the order they had no idea where my package was because according to them they sent it already, and I never received an email saying the order was sent. So I had to be the one to try to find this missing package A WEEK BEFORE MY BABY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY. Never again read more

I've ordered from them twice. I ordered in June 2009 and June 2016 for my son's birthday. He had a birthday party in 2009 so I was satisfied with my order then. The shipping is fast and came in two days. Everything looks exactly the same as how it looks online. My son is older now and no more birthday parties so I only ordered a few items this time around. Ive had no problems or issues with Birthday Direct. read more

I will say I was very disappointed in the Baby Shower invitations that I ordered. The template was not consumer friendly in allowing you to see how the invite would actually look before it was printed. You had to go line by line which is usually not a problem when you see it all put together like on some other websites. Unfortunately this is not how theres is set us. So you basically were at the mercy of the printer. And I was told over the phone that they can make adjustments as seen fit. So one of my line was not even printed while another line was split into 2 lines. I have made at least 30 invites over the years and never have I found one to be so challenging! read more

Things arrived quickly, exactly as ordered and pictured. Planning parties for littles gets you looney enough without the additional stress of plates + napkins + decoration deliveries gone awry. My communications with Birthday Direct were quick, clear, and helpful. Merci for brightening up our soirée! read more

Ordered feb 11 and used 2 day shipping. Order was picked up by shipping company on Feb 12. As of Feb 13 order has been sitting in Memphis TN. It's Feb 19 and still sitting there. Customer Service tried using the storms and deaths in TX as the reason. I want a return label to send it back when it arrives and she tries to say they can't issue one. It's not a refund it's a return label for when it comes. Party city orders arrived, Amazon orders arrived but Birthday Direct. I wanted her supervisor and I'm sure she hasn't even sent it up. Did you Grace Ann? next email. "1 I am the supervisor" yeah sure you are. They are always the supervisor. I said well then I want your supervisor. Everyone has one but the CEO. Are you the CEO? I had already emailed corporate and will let them know you are the supervisor next email. She claims she share the emails with the CEO, yeah after 5pm on a Friday. Oh and the CEO agrees with her. im just going back and forth with her now just to waste her time and to see the lies she's comes up with. read more

I ordered many items for my son's Thomas the Tank Engine birthday party. These included plates, cups, table cloths, and napkins. The prices were excellent and the selection of items available were good. Everything arrived as ordered, and very quickly too. The only reason I'm not giving five stars, is that they were out of stock for a particular item I had been eyeing, and I went back to check repeatedly for a week or two, and it was still out of stock. Even so, I'd recommend Birthday Direct for your party supplies. read more

If I could give this company zero, I would. Do not order from this company. Their lack of detail has much to be desired. I ordered a 6-12 month infant lady bug costume for my granddaughter. They sent a 12-18 months. I re-ordered again 6-12 month and AGAIN they sent me a 12-18 month. Unbelievable!!! I will never, ever order another item from them again!!! If they did not have the size I requested, then just refund my money. Simple as that! Don't send me something I cannot use. read more

I have to say this company is wonderful best i done Business with in a long time shipping was super fast and the company was very good with communication from the time I placed the order until the time I received the order I receive numerous emails updating me on my progress furthermore my box came very protected with items as described and I was so happy I tried so hard to find roller skating party stuff and it was so hard and this company had it not only for a great value but a great product I am definitely looking forward to doing business with birthday party direct again in the future from a new customer that has never dealt with you guys before I just want to say thank you for being an awesome company and offering such great products at such a great price in closing I just wanted to thank you for helping me take the stress and the worry out of making this birthday party great read more

DO NOT count on prompt delivery to your door - FedEx is STILL holding my package hostage due to the ridiculous requirements Birthday Direct put on the shipment! MUST be present, must be over 21, & must present a government-issued photo ID - FOR PAPER PLATES!!! This information would have been very helpful PRIOR to purchasing as we would have shipped to an address where someone could fulfill their requirements. BOO. So much for the convenience of online ordering - I will stick with buying locally. We will never, ever use Birthday Direct again. read more

I placed an order and then realized i hadn't put my correct shipping address. What a nightmare!!! I literally contacted them after I sent the order...only minutes had passed when I spoke with an online chat person and was told they couldn't change the delivery address because it was american express. REALLY???? I order gifts for people all the time and ship to them with my Amex and have no problem. So then I asked them to cancel the order. They said they couldn't because they have THOUSANDS of orders to look through. REALLY!!?? I called them and someone hung up before I could speak to anyone. Then when I finally spoke with someone they transferred me to the supervisor. She said once they find it they will cancel it. What an ordeal. I will NEVER deal with this company again. read more

Birthday Direct had the best prices and greatest selection of items. My son wanted a Pokemon themed party and they had great stuff. They processed my order ASAP and offered free shipping. I got my package 3 days later, much quicker than anticipated. I got confirmation emails every step of the way and they were very courteous on the phone. I f you are looking for hard to find party items they are a great one stop shopping experience. I've bought from several birthday websites and this has been the best experience so far. read more

I tried so hard to place an order. They will not ship to an address separate from your billing address if it's not listed with your card company. They were unable to do it even after I called my card company. My biggest issue was they charged my card, THEN told me they would be unable to ship to my address. I understand attempting to stop fraud but there should be some other way to get around this because there are plenty of other party websites. PASS. read more

Can't beat the prices! And my order came very fast. I'm so happy with the personalized sign I ordered. Great quality for the price.

The worst customer service I've ever received! Tells you something and when it does not happen, they will guarantee they did not tell you what they did. Be careful! read more

I paid extra for express shipping, and I emailed them before ordering clarifying that if the shipment does not come in by the specific day, please cancel order. I was promised it would arrive on time, and it did NOT. We ended up buying generic party supplies from the local grocery store for my daughters party, because they did not ship on time. The worst part is that when I returned the unopened box, they only refunded part of my payment, stating that it was their policy not to refund 100%. Horrible customer service, and unreliable shipping. read more

This place is awesome, the prices are great, and more importantly they ship to APOs! My order arrived in less than 10 days (trust me that's really good for APOs), and everything looked amazing. Ordered specific balloons on a rush because venue had to move our party date up. Was told would be no problem to overnight and receive a day before the party. I would say the best place for a great deal on party supplies. I ordered supplies for my son's second birthday which his curious george and they had what I was looking for. I'm giving them three stars because I signed into the website to check on my order which was not yet shipped out. I have remembered that I've bought some napkins at another store and didn't need all the ones I bought here. So I emailed them asking if I can do an exchange with my order. Well once I sent them the message asking if I can? Well sure enough minutes later I get a message saying my order is processed and has been shipped. Well then this morning I check to see where my package is and fed ex just received it this am not last night. I feel like the didn't want to go the extra mile for me to do a few little exchanges to my order. I'm also not happy with them saying it's been sent to fed ex when fed ex said they just got it today. read more

I only ordered napkins, plastic cutlery and paper plates for my daughter's birthday party but it arrived VERY fast with their regular shipping rate. I think I had it within three business days of ordering. The only hiccup is that if you pay with American Express, they can't ship to an address other than your billing address. They did send me an email right away letting me know that I had to either use a different credit card or have it shipped to my billing address. I chose the latter because it wasn't that big of an inconvenience for me. They did send me exactly what I ordered and I was glad to find napkins and plastic forks/knives in the exact color I needed (which I couldn't find at the big party online store/chains). read more

Order party supplies for my daughters first birthday. I ordered the mermaid theme supplies and the prices were pretty reasonable. The whole process was simple and quick. At first I was not sure about ordering from them but i am happy i did. I ordered it on the 31st and received it by the 4th but it was delivered by the 2nd. The only issue i had with them was them not adding my apartment number when the package was shipped out. I was able to track my order the entire time and noticed that on the 2nd which was the delivery day that the package was undeliverable because and apartment number was missing. I had to go through the hassle of calling USP several times because they were saying that we sent it back to sender, then i would call back and get give me your info and ill call back once i find it. But once i called birthday direct they were willing to send me a new package the next day if it was enrollee to return to sender. Thank goodness it did not get sent back. read more

AWFUL customer service. INDIRECT steps to follow. DISGUSTING, SNEAKY ways in order to keep your money. I ordered a customized decal for my niece for her birthday. The decal was delivered, all scrunched up and destroyed. When I contacted the service, they did not respond until I contacted them a SECOND time; stated I could not get a new decal made because they were not contacted in time. Then explained that I could not receive my money back without a picture of the broken product. When I did not hear back, I threw the garbage decal into the trash. Their terrible service and unreliable products, ruined my niece's birthday cake. I AM DISGUSTED with this service. I RECOMMEND NEVER USING THEM. There are plenty of other websites to go and get decent priced birthday supplies. They should not be in business because of their terrible customer service and disappointing products. read more

Worst place to order from. They sent me my invites with the T missing from the word party. I asked if there was anyway to correct the issue and they said theres no refunds or returns or exchanges. I ordered my son's 4th birthday party invitations from this company despite reading some of the comments left by other people. It's hard to find robot invitations anywhere especially locally. They took all the guess work out of composing\wording an invitation. That was definitely a plus. I contacted the company via FaceBook to see how long it would take to get these in, as my son's party is in 30+ days. I felt at ease when they responded that they were in the states. My ordered shipped out the day after I placed the order and I received it shortly after...I placed the order on 1/4/18 and received the robot invitations on 1/8/18!!! Way faster than I expected. I opened the package and was pleased with what I saw. It looked just like the picture on the website, all the words and lines of the invitation were legible. It was perfect. They were printed on something I would consider picture paper, a little thicker than picture paper. They look very nice, I am pleased. I would definitely order again. Thank you Birthday Direct!!!! read more
