For a roadside Days Inn motel, this location exceeded expectations. It got off to a slightly rocky start through no real fault of theirs as I arrived early for an event in town that started at 3 pm on a Saturday and I wanted to catch an uber from the parking lot. My hopes were to check in a tad bit early, settle in, and call that Uber. I had messaged this location from the app (Expedia) I booked them, then when not receiving a response I tried to call them for days leading up to my booking but never received a response. When I arrived they told me they had no rooms available early; and though I'd booked two nights one was through Expedia and one was direct w/ the hotel, so I was briefly in the position of needing to transfer rooms between nights (ultimately I was able to maintain my room). I also wasn't able to check my bags (no process for that), so had to keep them in my car while I caught my ride to the event. Now--that mess out of the way--from the moment I checked in late Saturday night until I left on Monday, I was more than satisfied with my stay. The rooms were CLEAN, QUIET, and up to date. The beds were comfortable, water pressure strong (and water hot), in room coffee pot stocked, fridge cold, etc. There was a Netflix and wifi ability for a cable TV with plenty of channels. Food delivery nearby. Plenty of parking. Decent complimentary breakfast and workout room. Prices very inexpensive. I haven't paid this little for a room in some time, and I've dealt with far less amenities in much higher costing hotels. I'd definitely consider staying here next time I'm in the Shoals.

Also, housekeeping leaves room doors wide open while cleaning. I would come back from work to a variety of flying insects in my room. I killed flies every night. Lastly, when they changed my bedding, a fitted sheet was used that didn't fit the bed. It was too small and popped off the mattress the moment I went to bed. It would be bunched up beneath me when a loud car woke me up at 2:00 AM.

The lobby is large and inviting. You'd think you were in a nice hotel in a big city from the lobby alone. Through the conversation with Tim, we learned he was about to get off for the night and would be back at 8 in the morning to check us out. We went to our room. The hallway was a little rough looking, but for 75 dollars a night it was totally tolerable. The room was large and well furnished. We had a king sized bed, plenty of lights and lamps, a (old) microwave, a refrigerator, and a nice new television. The room was clean and comfortable, and we slept well. The next morning as we were leaving, coincidentally I was taking a load to the car and Tim was walking in and said to me "good morning, Mr. Carter." You don't get service like that for 75 dollars a night! There was a hot breakfast included which was as good as we would have gotten at any restaurant for 10 dollars a person. Waffles, biscuits, gravy, sausage, coffee, etc. We had a great stay and the value for price paid was fantastic. We pass through muscle shoals often and will absolutely stay here again.

Well they went into the system and put me for 2 days and charged me for 2 days. And one thing about this location they do not answer the phone You could never get a hold of anyone. But it's a shame that a business can modify your reservations and overcharge I mean is that not stealing?
